    Could you please not name the files after the latest update? I daresay that's what the description is for.

    I just downloaded "Text translations-1989-1-4-1705606016.7z" which is very confusing when it should be named "Delay getting Grounded-1989-1-4-1705606016.7z" instead.

    Apart from this little nitpicking, your mod is absolutely brilliant and makes the game much more enjoyable.
    No matter how many playthroughs I have finished, there is *always* this one unreturned task I forgot!

  3. I got teleported to the council chamber but the cutscene didn't trigger

      The same problem. Although the game says that you need to find a way to leave the Citadel, but the task of talking to Anderson does not begin.
      Although, according to your message in the bug topic, you found out that it's not about mods.
      Although this bug is not so critical, the quest on Ilos starts automatically as soon as you go there.

      Edit:
      I was able to figure out what the problem was. Before receiving a message from Udina, it was necessary to leave the Citadel and go to another system. Then the cutscene works fine

      What do you mean by addressed? Because when prompted to update, it says that you are required to dock or land on another planet. Is that still the case? Or are you simply saying what the problem was, and now you no longer have to do that?

      I ask because I may be modding a friends copy of MELE for him, and I want to try to eliminate any potential issues, as he is NOT mod savvy in anyway, and he wouldn't be able to fix any issues himself.

      Players reported that when docked at the citadel and they tried to accept the email, the cutscene of getting called to the citadel only to be teleported to the council chambers and the needed cutscene not play [the one where you argue with the council and Udina grounds you]. This was causing an issue where players could not progress the story as the journal would update to say you needed to find a way off of the citadel but it was impossible to do so since Anderson was nowhere to be found so the player was restricted to the citadel.

      The update prevents the softlock by making it so that the player needs to be somewhere other than the citadel in order to receive the email. [If you receive the email and then choose to go to the citadel without getting grounded, it will disappear until the game detects you are no longer docked at the citadel/in another system]

      Ok, so if I am understanding correctly, the email will NOT show if you are docked at the Citadel? Meaning that the issue of the softlock is no longer possible?

    idk if you've fixed this since uploading a preview screenshot of your mod, but judging by that screenshot, I believe the correct grammar should be, "your actions in the Traverse" rather than, "you actions the Traverse."
  5. Not sure why, but I never got the message from Udina. I wonder if there is a conflicting mod.  Here's the M3 diagnostic report:

    The newer file isn't working. Atleast it wasn't for me. When I was done with the four missions, I got the message and I hit acknowledge and it just didn't work. I tried using the map several times. I spent a few hours trying to fix this and even reloaded a previous save but then I downloaded the older version and everything was fixed.

    Question: does that mean I'll get Udina's and Anderson's reaction after completing Virmire?

    Let me explain what I mean: after completing the main mission on one of the 4 main planets, if you go to the Citadel to talk to Udina and Anderson, they say something about your actions on said world. Since, 99% out of the times, I play Virmire last, I rarely hear what they have to say about the events that occured on Virmire.

    So, will your mod let me have that conversation with them? Then go back on the Normandy to finish the last side missions and finally  read Udina's email demanding that I come back? Oh, I hope so.

      thats correct.

      The email will become available once Therum, Feros, Noveria and Virmire are all completed, the Normandy won't get grounded until you hit "acknowledge" if you accidentally view the email you can hit 'ignore' to set the email to unread.

      You can now view Udina and Anderson's comments on all 4 of the missions in a single playthrough.

    This was an instant download for me. One of my all time biggest peeves about the game is how there has always been at least one sidequest where I gotta be like, "Let's just pretend this happened before the race to Illos so the timing makes sense."

    Nice mod!

    Concerning the issue of the player having to avoid touching the message terminal, you could try this:
    - set a second button, which I made possible in Private Terminal (e.g. "Acknowledge" and "Ignore").
    - associate a transition to the second button, which sets your Plot Int for message read back to 0.
    I think the result should be that the message will still be available on the terminal (though it might block any other messages, as long as you don't press Acknowledge). I haven't tested this, so I'm not 100% sure it will work, but it might be worth a try. Let me know how it goes, if you try it.
