The mod works. If you're using the linked mod, you must follow every installation and patching step of that mod or mostly every mod out there will fail to work.
Unfortunately, a Mod Manager log does not show me if you followed the patching instructions of the Liara Squadmate Mod. I can only ask you again to check if you followed all the installation and patching instructions of that mod, which are very much needed if playing with any other mods, since that mod overrides most of the game.
I didn't see any patching options or instructions on the other mod, I checked 4 times. The only patching options on this mod is for face mods, which I'm NOT using.
The mod description has a long section about the patching process, plus the files section has the patcher tool. It is all explained on that mod page. And again, if you are ignoring its patcher, you are literally overriding every other mod out there, not just "Liara mods".
Perfect for the body! Takes us back to ME1 logic. To be truly perfect, I must figure out how to get the Full Glass Face Helmet to work on this, so we can see her face for that cut scene where she breaks through the door - but she's also wearing a helmet - which makes sense in combat. Breather masks are a no-go for combat. Thanks for the mod! Not going to ask you to make the helmet, read down further you don't like them for some reason. To each their own, cheers!
I finally reached the point in my ME2LE playthrough to start LotSB and unfortunately I can't get this mod's changes to be visible, so Liara continues to have her lab-coat combat appearance even after we get to the Shadow Broker base.
Diagnostic can be viewed here. If there's something I missed please let me know, I appreciate it! Thanks!
If I am understanding the log correctly, it seems to be a wrongly applied patch from Road to Hell for Liara. It seems only her LE3 face was applied, but not a patch including the armor from this mod as well. I am not extremely familiar with how the patching process of that mod goes (if you must click manually for each option or if they apply automatically based on mod detection). If you had to choose it manually, make sure to check the correct patch, if it was automatic, you should report it to the other mod author.
Just bear in mind that I see you have textures installed, so you would need to restore your game from a backup and reinstall the mods again.
You're absolutely right, I am so sorry you had to read through my diagnostic just to catch that!
In my own modding guide instructions I specifically wrote down to use the Liara - LE3 Appearance - ME3 Armor (Main) option for Road to Hell, but I must have selected the face patch only (LE3 Appearance Main) option during my latest mod install.
There are so many permutations in that mod that selecting the wrong one is easy, since each must be selected manually and it only eliminates some mod options but doesn't auto-select others based on the other mods already applied.
It's ok! And no worries, there could have been a genuine error and it is always a good thing to know if new incompatibilities arise and to try to solve them. And yes, that mod, as the name already states is *hellish*. The author has all my respect for keeping up the patches up to date for all the companions.
But yeah, an easy mistake. We all have been there. Mod developers even are the first ones to make the simplest of mistakes from time to time.
The Asari-style mask is a definite improvement on the ME2 style masks, looks great! Now, this may be a lot to ask, but is there anyway to have Liara using an ME1 style "full head" helmet instead of the breather mask?
I'm not going to do it. I like the breathers. My modding villain story literally started for my hatred for helmets and me wishing to remove them from the full body armors lol.
In any case, there's the Liara Prologue armor mod for LotSB which has her helmeted if you prefer to use that.
Ah, that's it!) That's the villain) Damn, is there really not a single programmer in the community who would have a logical armor system with huge brutal cool helmets for ME2?! =)
The description of your patch for the LE3-face-version of Liara Consistency Mod seems pasted from the LE1 face-option. It says ...consistent with her look from Mass Effect 1, while it should say look from game #3.
DLCRequirements=DLC_MOD_Liara_Consistency_Mod_LE3,FriendlyName="LE3 Face Patch",Description="Makes Liara's facial appearance fully consistent with her original basegame look from Mass Effect 1while wearing her LE3 Alternate Appearance Pack Armor. - Requires prior installation of Liara Consistency Mod (MELE2)"
Woops! Thanks for letting me know. I'll fix it not sooner than next week since I'm currently away on vacation and I don't have computer access (which is a vacation on itself too 😂)
Love this and I can't wait to see more Project Variety! Could this be disabled until partway through LotSB, or is enabling it partway through likely to cause issues?
Yes, you can enable/disable whenever you want as many times you like. The only exception is if you were planning to add texture mods. If you do, you should install the mod normal, then install textures, and then disable. That way you ensure the modded files get properly applied your texture mods.

Good workaround for squadmate mod as well
In the end I deleted it.

Thank you again for your patience and help!

(mere oversight, not an actual bug :-)

Glad you like it. Hope you enjoy it in your next playthrough!
