Hello, im new to Mass Effect modding, i have Mass Effect Trilogy from the Legendary Edition, but in Mass Effect 2, i cannot toggle walk anymore, so i want this mod, so i download the Mod Manager and then i download the rar file and drag it into the Mod Manager and then it says: Cannot endorse mod (not authenticated). So maybe im doing something wrong.

Installing this mod is pretty simple and I guess you done everything good but for any case this is how installation looks:
      1. Download preferred files
      2. Open ME3Tweaks Mod Manager
      3. Drag downloaded file into Mod Manager
      4. Apply or import the mod. If you import - click mod name on the list and then click Apply Mod at the bottom right of the window.

You should ignore information about endorse (this is information about endorsing mod and not of installing it ). On DLC-mods list every mod have number and when I was sending information about this mod I ended giving bad Module number (this mod was my first "DLC" mod.. ) so probably Mod manager have problem with identification what mod on Nexus it is and so endorse function cant' work. But this is not relevant in anything for using this mod, just only you can't "endorse" my mod from Mod manager.

Wait, has the 2022 compatibility problem with Unofficial Patch been corrected? I'm just confused because I saw the comment but In descriptions says it is compatible with anything. So... Anyway.

By the way, saw some problems too with this mod physics got funny, blowing crates kinda jumped around as if they were made of paper, character textures morphing around as if they were a venom symbiote and Garrus stuck on the ground by his waist walking around left and right.
I don't know why, but that's it. Just reporting.

    Edit:
I really liked that this mod has some real quality of life such as hide HUD, infinite running, toggle walk, mouse acceleration fix and the infinite decals. I wished there were a separated version just for them.

Information in mod description is actual. Mod is in DLC form from 28 July 2022. So it is compatible from this date (all versions what you can download are compatible ).

I didn't realize such bugs (I only play LE2 for testing mods but sometimes it can be not enough ).

I thought already about separating this mod to more files but I couldn't find time for that yet.

I finished ME1 with your mod and am now switching to the legendary edition for ME2 and ME3. Very happy to see that your incredible mod is available for the LE versions. As I said before, this is a life changing mod for sure and I hugely appreciate your work on it.

Version for controller is ready (“LE2 QoL Controller” ).
Sorry that this took quite time.
LeftThumbstick works as 10xTimeButton. XboxTypeS_Start andXboxTypeS_X skip conversations without selecting dialogue responses.
Feel free to say if you don't like something or if something not works as should (I can't exactly test this because I don't have Controller ).
LeftThumbstick now not have default function what was show_map but this should be ok because RightThumbstick also has show_map function.

can we change how long corpses stay on the battlefield in LE3? They seem to vanish really fast.

Unfortunately this is not something I can do. Original game edition had aggressive cleanup bodies probably to faster relieve RAM for game (32bit applications can use max 2gb or 4gb of allocated RAM  ). Legendary Edition it is 64bit application so it can use all RAM so staying corpses would be easily to handle. If I good recall in Original Edition of ME3 corpses stay options was accessible but buried deep (and somewhat pointless there to make mod as some popular mods what use more RAM would crash if corpses would staying ) - in LE3 probably this also can be accessible. But this need knowledge about modding of sfxgame file if I am correct. I have in plans other mods what are based of different methods of modding - so for now I not planning to learn this. Maybe some other modder can make such mod. UPDATE: I refind forums posts about it - and it seems that it is even more difficult to do than I thought.

Everything appears to work in this mod except for persistent bodies.. I guess that didn't make it over from ME2 version of this mod? or did it conflict with that community patch?

If you mean corpses not disappearing - this isn't possible for this game (unless somebody will find how ). As in description I wrote bodies have enabled physics - they react to gunfire. For example the dead bodies should react to melee attack and should bleed when you shoot at it. Without mod physics are very restricted - they react only to explosives.

Thank you for making these. The whole mouse issue alone is so bothersome as well as the multikey issue. Sprinting/taking cover/use key is like total bonkers for any player who plays on higher difficulties. I still don't get it why they were so lazy when they made the legendary version. Isn't that the whole point to make it more accessible and and iron out some woes?

I'm rooting for a LE2 unofficial patch compatible version.

True, just nowadays whole point of remasters is sales. But this remaster isn’t that bad – in the sense that they tweak gameplay of ME1.
About the mouse stuff in LE2 – they added to menu options- mouse sensitivity control and possibility to turn off dampening. So regardless it is progress comparing to original ME2 (in original edition of ME2 to even set sensitivity there was needed to edit coalesced file ).
Funny thing that I found youtube channel with movies (for example this movie ) where Legendary Edition is meticulously compared to Originals and it seems Legendary Edition is even worse than I thought.

Yeezzzz... What did I just watch. Why did they had to make so many drastic lightening changes in the cutscenes?

Thank you for making your mod compatible with the patch.

Hey - I'm one of the devs for the Unofficial LE2 Patch and I wanted to let you know that we also replace basegame coalesced, because we have a specific method for fixing a bug that works only in the basegame file. This means our mods are incompatible and when we update soon, we'll add this mod to the list of incompatible mods as we've started getting some questions.

We have open patching permissions on our mod so if you wanted to use it as a basis for your mod to make them compatible, that would be okay. But needing to be in the basegame is quite unusual. Most coalesced edits can be put into the coalesced of a DLC mod, and only update the function in question. So for instance you can update keybindings in one DLC mod and set unlimited sprint in another DLC mod, and they can be used together without replacing the base game file. When the game first launched, DLC mods weren't possible for a few months, so basegame replacement was the only way. But if the mods that inspired you had been repackaged this way, they could have been used together anyway.

So if you have shipped the mod this way because you were unaware another way was possible, I would encourage you to consider repackaging it as a DLC mod for better compatibility. There's a tutorial on converting a coalesced mod to a DLC mod here: https://github.com/ME3Tweaks/LegendaryExplorer/wiki/How-to-make-your-LE2-Coal-Edits-into-the-more-compatible-DLC-Mods

    There's also a tutorial available for LE3.

EDIT: I just realised I contacted you about this previously in a different location - apologies. Another question came up specifically about this and I couldn't see a comment and it honestly slipped my mind that it could be the same mod. I'll leave the comment here because otherwise you'd get a phantom notification and because this information may be useful to others, specifically if they are considering using both mods. But it wasn't my intention to spam you, and my apologies on that point!

Haha, no problem that you saying about this again :)
Lately I was searching for my notes from doing the mod so very soon I could try make it as DLC.
When I was planning making first mod (for LE1 ) there wasn’t any mod what have all functions what I wanted. I see now that for LE2 and LE3 situation is better as some Coalesced modifications are in DLC – but at this point I am pretty happy how my mods evolved with some functionality what I believe no other mods have.
First mod what I was making was for LE1 so choosing a form of replacing a Coalesced wasn’t much of choice. When I was doing mod for LE2 I didn’t know that it conflict with such important mod as Unofficial LE2 Patch.
Also I see that DLC mods are more customizable in terms of allowing choose exactly mods what anyone want. Thinking about it now I realizing that for example JadeBarker’s Crouch mod for LE2 is in DLC form so I will remove that function from my mod and just add link to Crouch mod into description. Also your post give me good idea that splitting some parts of my mod into optional downloads will be beneficial – as it solve the issue when some people want use some functions of mod but don’t want for example separate buttons (although I manage that for LE1 but for LE2 I don’t know yet how to do it ). Also this will remove the problem of having 12 file versions for that mod.
So I am glad that you wrote because your post as I said make me realize some things :)
By the way, maybe you know if this mod in DLC form become like content mod that can’t be installed after textures mod?
If making this as DLC form will be easy for me then if anyone wants some specific function of my mod I can make it in DLC form as optional download.

Great - glad it was useful not annoying! Yeah, as you say, things are different there because the entire DLC system was removed from Legendary Edition and then reverse engineered by modders, so there are some differences. I'm not sure what your options are for that game as I know much less about it.

Mod Manager is great because it will let you install some options but not others if you set the mod description up correctly, so you could definitely do as you describe and I think people would really appreciate it.

Normally installing DLC mods after textures is not a good idea, but if your mod is only coalesced edits, it should be fine. The problem is the textures in the package files (there are textures in almost all of them). But obviously, no textures in coalesced. So it's one of the few exceptions.

Today I added 2 new key binding versions. Also today I published mod for LE3 (link in mod description ). UPDATE: In plans I have making similar mods for original trilogy - there should be ready in next weekend. Another update: Making changes for LE versions and other things make versions for original trilogy delayed in time for about one week (before 24 July should be ready ). UPDATE: Version for ME2OT (Original Trilogy ) ready - link in description. Versions for ME1OT and ME3OT should be ready in some days.
