Hi, I don't know if you are still activ on your mod or not. A qwick message to say that this mods seems not working for me. I hv installed improved kit of each kits but I can't see any change while i'm ingame. No change on character screen, no change on character personalization screen and no change in game.

Since the game popularity has largely decrease, I can't found a lot of players. They are still some of but they usually leave when they saw my tiny apex rank^^. So I have to go on gold or ultra mission alone but it's not fun and very hard, even with cheats. I have had a lot of hope with this mod but as I said, it seems not working. Have you a Discord channel or a suggestion to make it work ? I use the game with ea app and have the latest version of FMM. Maybe I should use a previous version ?

Thanks if you answer to me or if someone can help me even if I hvnt any hope of someone will still come here in 2023

      Hello.
My mods do still work with the latest version of the mod manager. The EA app has caused issues when trying to boot up modded games and needs the FrostyFix. However, it seems that got fixed last month if the game is exclusively owned on that platform. The fix is still required if you have the game on Steam or some other place. Personally, I would drop using the EA app altogether and stick to Origin. Here's the video of how to use it if you're interested. If this isn't the issue, check what mods you have enabled because I've included different versions of the same character. Based on the given information, these are my best assessments.

hi dragonborne, ive been trying to make my owncharacter kits but im really confused at what im doing with parts, you posted a link on how to do it a few comments down which i understant to the point on the second paragraph on the second page where it says about the attached file, is it supposed to copy all the data across (if so what do i do after i press that button) or do i have to manually type in the boxes from what is says from frag grenade to whatever power im overwriting it with?

Great mod btw, i love the characters ive used so far :)

Apologies for the late reply but if I'm recalling it right, that section is referring to copying the preview clip of the ability and putting it in the class you want. You can also copy the hash of the ability name directly from there as well. No typing is required, unless newer versions of the toolkit have changed this in some way.

Question. How do you give multiplayer characters the profiles from single player, and also how do you give them single player powers without the game crashing?

Excellent question. Essentially the bundles that contain the party members' information have to be added into each of the multiplayer maps. For example, in the Turian Revised mod I had made, Vetra's reference bundles had to added on in order for power armor to work on the Turian sentinel. Under the bundles tab, you can check which asset is included into which bundle. Here's exactly what I mean:
      Game/Multiplayer/MP Black/description Vanilla:

      Modded to include Vetra:

      DLC maps are under: PostLaunch/Act_0X

Also making this reply made me realize I never included the Turian Sentinel Revised project file in my package of modded files. I will upload it after I post this reply. Feel free to use it as a template if my explanation was confusing or to further inspire you to experiment with the singleplayer abilities. I've ever only used them with Vetra and haven't had the chance to try the others.

Hey do you have any tutorials on how you changed kits of mp charactors. Mostly I am trying to bring single player squadmates skills and all like havoc strike to some characters in mp. As of now, I managed to open the powerlist of a character, say human  infiltrator and took of his sticky grenade. Then I added an item and when to find Liam's powers, then when on power_havocstrike_liam, I clicked on the arrow to add it. Then I did as you said and showed in your pics. went into every map descriptions, and added in the bundle loads to load jared(which I think is Liam just like Vetra is Vale I think.) But the skill doesnt even appear in the customization menu.

I've created this document several years ago, and I believe the process is still the same. The only thing I've edited was my wording on certain instructions. Unfortunately, I've been told in the past Havoc Strike in particular does not work for multiplayer. I'm not sure why that has been the case and I have not been able to make it work.

Are you still making more kits for this mod?

As of right now, no. I haven't added more kits in over 2 years. I've been refocusing my time on other things.

I'm wondering if the changed skills are supposed to show up in the character selection screen? cause they don't for me. and the names aren't changed either. just wondering if it's supposed to be this way. the skills are changed when i go to the customize screen though. please let me know if this is the way it's supposed to be or i messed up somewhere. And just to confirm, this mod is compatible with the Ultimate Total Conversion for MP by Remnant right? except for those 2 files mentioned in the description? Thanks!

Actually, my mods that alter character abilities are not compatible with UTC. I forgot to change the description after UTC's final update. My apologies. If this issue still persists, you may need to use an older version of the mod manager to run my mods. I may repackage my mods for the newest version in the future. Hope this helps.

Well besides those 2 visual bugs, your character mods have been working perfectly fine for me with that other mod so I'm just going to keep them together. I just have yours loaded after the Total Conversion. Love almost all the new kits and the improved kits. Keep up the great work!

Thank you for including the project files. Now I can select only the cosmetic changes I desire.

IDK if this is a dumb question but is there a way to get the models for like Gmod or SFM? I'm VERY new to this kinda stuff.

I'm not too sure if you can extract models from the Frosty Editor, but I do know you can extract meshes and textures, if that helps. I haven't really gone into that kind of modding but I'm sure the people in the Frosty Toolsuite discord could give you more info than I could.

So, theoretically, if you played with these in a public lobby what do you think would happen? Could you get banned from multiplayer?

If you do play on public, and if you are the host, everyone in the lobby now has the modded powers/stats that you have loaded. Now, if you join a public lobby with mods enabled, most likely you'll DC or crash on the spot since most people don't run mods for MP. Considering that MEA has been "abandoned," you won't be banned. Worst case scenario if someone for some particular reason thinks that changing powers on kits is cheating (which really isn't) they'd probably try to report you if they really wanted to. But like I said, it really doesn't matter considering not many people play this game anymore and I just wanted a different experience to at least make it better. So enjoy the mods if you wish. :)
