I mean one look at the numbers in the description and it's clear that it completely breaks game balance. 600% biotic damage, 120% weapon damage, 60% fire rate.
Are you supposed to see these figures reflected in the Data screens when you view the Profiles? Because I applied the mod, but I still see the regular profile information like 15% Power Damage, 10% duration etc. , the regular stats.
Did this stop working?
EDIT: Ok, it works. Not sure what the issue was before, but it's working fine.
Can you add a mod that removes biotic blink? It's a terrible "ability" because it has a longer cooldown, less control of direction, and I just go flying through objects when I didn't even intend to. For example I'll teleport to the roof of a building. It's annoying. PLEASE do this!
Download the file under Old Files. It replaces biotic blink with stealth evade. Or did you want a mod that only removes biotic blink and keeps the vanilla profiles?
Hi. Is there a way to edit the profile bonuses individually? Like, i wanted to increase Engineer's Construct Health/Damage ALONE but it also increased Tech Power Damage in the process. I'm new regarding modding so i apologize in case a missed anything obvious. If it wasn't for your detailed explanation on how to edit the values i'd certainly leave the matter be. Thanks for it, by the way.
Hey! SO i have the mod installed and love it! i was trying to fix the explorers exp issue but my frosty editor doesn't show the new values its only showing vanilla stuff.
You have to unzip the frosty project file to a location on your computer, like your desktop, and then open it via frosty editor. Do this by clicking on the open folder icon at the top left hand of the frosty editor window, then select the project file. It will only show edited values unless you uncheck the box that says "show only edited values" or something to that effect. When you're done editing click on File > Export to mod, and you're done.
Hey there, thanks for this mod, I thought the profiles were largely uninteresting in the vanilla game and this is a fun change of pace. I thought a few values were a bit high though and intended to modify them myself but I couldn't find out which value was which. Is there any chance you can either make some modifications for me or tell me how I can do it myself?
The changes I wanted to do was to reduce the Adept bonuses to biotic damage and combo radius from 100% per rank to 75% per rank. I also wanted set the Explorer profile XP bonus to a flat 75% increase per rank.
(With the frosty editor I figured out that the values are found in the profilestats table but it included 42 entries, each with a lot of values, if you can point me in the right direction there I can probably do this myself.)
I'll give you an example of how to find out which value on profiles corresponds to which value on profilestats. We'll say we're changing Adept rank 1's base biotic damage. -First open game/exceldataimports/profilestats. Image: https://puu.sh/wOXR6/8048247256.png -As we can see from the image above, the stat being modified is the base damage of all biotic powers, which corresponds to WeaponValue "6" (the value for rank 1 of Adept) and number 11 under that value (the value to which you wish to modify the base damage of all biotic powers). -Back in profilestats, we can see that under value 11 of number 6, the modifier is set to 1 (this is a percent! meaning 1=+100%). For example, if we changed it to .75, it would go from being +100% base biotic damage to being +75% base biotic damage (for Adept rank 1 only). -Repeat this task for all values for all the profiles and profile ranks you wish to modify.

Wow, that went above and beyond what I expected, thanks alot for this. Now I can do tweak this anyway I want, awesome. By the way, as I was tweaking the Explorer XP bonus I noticed that on rank three the bonus is set to 25% (0,25) instead of 250% (2,5).

If you'd like to, you may edit the values to your liking using the frosty editor tool. See my earlier post on how to accomplish this.
