I managed to get back to modding so here are some important news about this mod : - The new version will be released in few weeks for ME1, ME2 and ME3. It will come with an updated installer that makes this mod compatible with any other mod, and adds new options like TIM eyes and tattoos.
- I will port this mod to the Legendary Edition once the modding tools are available. If I have time, I'll release a first version with a custom headmorph model.
Thank you for your patience, and happy modding :) ---------------------------------------------------
IMPORTANT : If you use a modified version of MEHEM v0.5 (ALOT applied on it for example) please do a clean install of it before installing my mod, otherwise the compatibility patch I apply will not work.
It is, I'm already working on for few weeks. I'm just facing technical issues that forced me to redo the mod from scratch and it is a lot of work. But in progress.
I'm redoing the mod all from scratch so it is a lot of work, but I want to release an update and a LE version that is better than the original mod. I hope you'll all like it.
Hi. Sorry to bother you as well, I simply hope this mod is coming to LE soon-ish. I have been itching to play through LE again for a while and this face is just the best for Shep. I can't say for the rest, but I honestly don't mind if it is not 100% perfect. Sending all the best.
Hi there just wanted to say i love this mod! i'm really impressed by what you're able to do. I was trying myself to replace default Femshep with the Brooks head & textures (from Citadel DLC) with your tutorial and I just can't get it to work. I am excited for future versions of your mod, I wish to adjust her skin tone. Thanks for making this awesome mod <3
For the brave souls out there, you definitely can port this yourself to LE.
However you do need a full install of ME3 OT (OT = original trilogy, i.e the original version of the game), most notably to get TExplorer working correctly
The PDF tutorial gives good insight on how to do it.
Here's some point of attentions when importing into LE : - In Meshplorer, when you replace the meshes, in the import menu select "Replace single lod from UDK" otherwise the mesh will be messed up - The hair can't be replaced the same way head is replaced, due to difference in bone number. To work around this. 1) In ME3 LE Package Editor, open the PCC containing the modded OT mesh (the name ends in _MDL) (LE package editor can read OT pcc) 2) In ME3 LE Package Editor, open the original PCC containing the original mesh 3) Drag and drop the modded mesh into the original. You'll get a popup with 4 choices (or 2 cant remember from the top of my head). Chose the one that says it will replace the model. You'll get a warning that says something like "linking failed", its normal dont fret 4) Fix the link failure by fixing the texture link to the mesh (put the correct index in the texture link within the mesh)
hi thanks so much for the tutorial! I was wondering if it's possible for you to send me the PCC containing the modded OT mesh you metioned? It should be the only thing I need to get this method to work if I'm not reading this wrong. Cauze I only have the MELE (I'm pretty new here lol) but I really love this mod. Anyway, my gmail address is [email protected] , I would really appreciate your help!! Thanks a million again.
Like the other person in this reply thread, I've never owned the original ME3 game so I don't have any of the original game files. Is there a link to get the files required to do this?
Would love to hear if there's any update on the progress for porting the mod to MELE, been waiting to see if this has been updated to start my ME3 insanity run. Hope everything is going well for you :)
