--------------------------------- - It seems old version mods stop working and I have to update my mods, the best option would be to update my mods as DLC mods but the problem is I have no idea how to do it and I can't find a guide for it . If anyone can help me with a guide it would be much appreciated and I could update my mods properly with "plug and play"!, PM me thanks.
- Sorry if I didn't reply to last comments, I'm very busy with work and I don't receive any notice via email or something for comments here. I know all comments are all about problems with the mod to work, it needs to be updated. I'll update the mod as DLC mod when I find out how to do it.
I couldn't get your textures for the FemShep dress to work because I'm a noob at modding. However, I used this mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/masseffect3/mods/189 And these installed okay, even though they were meant for an older version of ME3Explorer.
I suggest contacting that mod's creator or figuring out the difference from their files to fix your mod? I hope that helps!
I love this, but can't get it to work. Could you tell me which version me3explorer you used so I can download that one. I really want to use your awesome mod.
I would like to see Ashley Williams wear this outfit cause of her line, "Yeah, well if you want me in a tin foil mini skirt and thigh-high boots, I'm gonna need dinner first... Uh... sir..."
I need some help i installed the mod and then used TexMod but for some reason when I use the dress everything below my Femshep's head is black. I was wondering what am I doing wrong.
That's the most strange thing I've ever seen :S, the entire outfit in black minus the jewelry which has the texture. That must be some other mod interfering or something but it shouldn't. Try to load the game without texmod and see if the old dress texture appears, the dress will be with a wrong texture but is it only to try if the error is by texmod.
It took me SO LONG! but i got it to work xD! THANK U FOR THE MOD I remember 1st seeing the dress and wishing it was a mod hehe! thank you have a good day c:!
I dont know if you still need help but what i ended up realizing was when i was using a mod from http://mods.girlplaysgame.com and i changed femshep's causal clothes pcc file (BIOG_HMF_ARM_CTH_R.pcc the original) to the modded pcc file i downloaded
Using the mod mesh from ME3explorer i checked the dress file ( CTHk is the dress) and realized that it wasnt kasumi's dlc dress instead it was femshep cyber punk armor http://mods.girlplaysgame.com/2014/03/cyberpunk-armor/
So because i backed up the pcc file i was able to change everything back to the unmodded state
I then manually installed the casual clothes from girlplaysgames that i wanted created a textree and was able to change the texures to what i wanted
I then did the same thing with the dress, since i love the dress and wont be changing it to anything else i didnt mind installing the dress permanently
to permanently install it i used the follow the instructions by taking the mod and installing it (and since i manually installed my causal outfit without changing the pcc file the mod worked) because i didnt know if it would work well or not with texmod i permenaly install the textures a i think its in the instructions but just incase
what you have to do is have textree(which i hope you have) then go to tpf/dds tools 2.0 load tpf click on the tpf file of the dress you want (it should be in the download) and analyse with texplorer they all should be working well if they are click install valid and your done
I hope it worked for you if not just start all over get the original file and try to make sure the dress is the original dress from the game use the mod then install the tpf file or if you dont want to make it permanent use texmod
FYI - generally it can't find the textures so me3 just defaults to a black texture. resolve, re-install the textures but just check admin rights, compatibility modes etc etc with me3explorer sometimes i just re-install another different mod, then re-install the mod in question and it snaps in! dunno why
i also have this problem. cannot solve it. try your method, after load tree, when i analyze it, it say not found in tree. i have use mod maker to add and THEN run texplorer and rebuild database
I keep getting "Not found in tree" constanty. I even went vanilla, just to change this, but no luck. Nothing work. tpf tools, manually changing the textures, nothing. Does anyone have any other bright ideas?
I've got the FemShep's Closet DLC mod and one of the outfits in the mod replaces the vanilla formal outfit. I want to keep that replacer outfit and was wondering if there was a way to have your mod replace another outfit? For example, I never use the Off-Duty Spacer Outfit (#4) and would like to be able to replace that with your mod. I use texmod since I don't wish to permanently replace anything. Thanks.
Anyone know how I can get this to appear as the default outfit my FemShep is wearing at the very beginning of the game? The scene where James comes to get her to go to the meeting with Anderson? I thought the ID was 100, and added that to gibbed editor, but I still appear in the default Alliance outfit.
I don't know if anyone is still checking this mod out but for those of you who are, I figured out how to get this mod to work with the current me3explorer. Basically just load the file from the PCC.mod folder into mod maker and what will happen is it will recognize that this mod is out of date and you can update it by clicking yes in the window that pops up. Then once the mod is loaded in, click Run all at the top of the screen and it will install it. After that go to TPF tools and load in the tpf file inside the Texture folder. For whatever reason I couldn't get the texture to load in with Texmod. From there you can install the texture. Just make sure you click Analyze with Texplorer first and then you can click Install Valid. That's it.
This method unfortunately doesn't work for me :/ When I try to "run all", the Script Compiler shows an error with "Line 72, Column 17". Something about the Unreal.PCCObject missing a definition for altSaveFile?
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS. I tried so many different ways to get this to work and your instructions were what finally did it. I thought it was just because the mod was outdated.
I had no idea these outfits have earrings until I looked at every screenshot you uploaded! Nice touch, I love the mod and will definitely be keeping this! :)
