(Old ik but) BRO. I was ALWAYS confused how Zaeed couldn't be fireteam leader. It made ZERO sense. He is the ONE person that would be better than Garrus at leading a 2nd team and instead we get mediocrely good (they both make sense but still) Jacob and Miranda that beats Zaeed at that
Sounds great! Had planned on starting a new playthrough of the original trilogy earlier this week, but figured there was a tiny chance I might see some interesting new mods pop up if I waited a little longer for N7 day, happy I did. Looking forward to trying this one out and seeing the restored content.

If you wanna try some of the new character/task combinations, I recommend planning ahead who to bring on Collector missions. Some characters like Thane unlock in the 2nd half of the game, so if you want to "boost" them without a romance, you're forced to take them on both the Collector Ship and the Derelict Reaper.
Actually, the Early Recruitment mod pairs really well with SMOM because it resolves this problem and gives you more freedom.
