    Note on Compatibility



    I've quickly checked the most popular LE2 mods such as Project Variety and there don't appear to be any issues. If you run into any compatibility problems, let me know and I'll try my best to fix them.

    I'm confused as to what you mean by the first time you land on a planet or hub, wouldn't that be very early in the game? Or am I just reading the description wrong? At what point in the game exactly does this mod trigger the abduction?

    Do you plan on fixing other bugs for mass effect 2 such as where your companions do the slide walk bug after your talk with the council (if you saved them in ME1) and the krogan who doesn't hold a weapon before meeting wrex/wreav and then there's a floating shotgun when wrex comes to greet you? Or Tarak when you meet him on Omega during the archangel mission where he has this huge hole in his head if zaeed is in your party? I mean that's a decade-old case of poor programing on the devs part that has bugged generations of gamers and they never bothered to patch it. I know they finally addressed it in Legendary Edition but i don't plan on wasting my cash on LE when i have the 3 games already.

      Sorry, but I've no plans on doing an Unofficial Patch for ME2 because it's just not worth the effort/time considering to how few people play the original version. LE2 already has its unofficial patch, although the amount of bugs in the original game still pales in comparison to the amount of bugs in the remastered version.

      I will be doing a Cutting Room Floor (restored cut content) mod though, so I might include a few bug fixes here and there with that.

      I see cause Project Variety and ME2 Recalibrated never bothered to address those issues and this has bugged generations of gamers. I mean Project Variety for the original ME2 fixed the infamous Garrus Loyalty Mission bug in which there was no background to be rendered, leading to the “solitaire” effect but not the others that i mentioned. BTW thanks for accepting me as a friend.

      Oh yeah the background during Garrus' mission is getting fixed, 100%. We fixed tons of such issues in ME3 through the LOD Module of the Unofficial Patch, and we'll do the same here.

      Alright, I'll take a look at the stuff you mentioned. If you know of any other bugs let me know.

      @OrikonTheModder I did do some research for bugs on my end and in the prologue when the Normandy is under attack by the collector's ship and when Ashley runs up to Shepard, she puts on her helmet but I noticed that her eyes squint, not sure if it's a bug cause in the legendary edition they gave her a black visor so you wouldn't see her eyes.

    Actually, according to some semi-reliable sources, they added the crew's abduction because no tester attempted the Suicide Mission without doing all the available content, so they tackled on the Crew's abduction to force players to attempt the Suicide mission unprepared. However, it was very late into production and didn't have time to integrate it into the story seamlessly.
