So I set this up with Flawless and the regular ME2 Ultrawide mod. And 99 percent of everything is great. Question though. Are the loading screen videos supposed to be 16:9?
No. BIK movie files in the ME trilogy almost never contain audio in and of themselves. The game stores audio elsewhere and plays it at the same time the silent video file starts playing. This mod only replaces those BIK videos. So it shouldn't have any effect on your audio.
However, there might be one or two files that do contain their own audio. Which cutscene are you having problems with?
Well thats the thing, most of the pre-rendered cutscenes and in game-engine cutscenes, like for example, the normandy docking at the citadel, Illium, the Migrant Fleet (other stations I can't remember the name of) same with the shuttle cutscenes (most of them involving the Shuttle I can't remember the name of it, sorry lol) Hell even some cutscenes where characters are on foot some sound FX are very quiet, music is the same, but then the actual soundfx, footsteps, ship thrusters, gunfire, vehicle sounds so on and so forth. Voices are the same though. And me, being the complete and utter dumbass that I am, I FORGOT to backup the goddamn "movies" as they are called.
I checked, and the only cutscene I know of which contains its own audio in ME2 is the 'Prothean Vision' scene reminiscent of the one from ME1. All other Movie files are silent. This mod only contains movie files, and does not contain any other files which would edit your game - audio or otherwise.
This must be an issue on your end, and would not be fixed by restoring the vanilla movie files. Perhaps something with your in game sound settings, or your hardware sound settings, old drivers, etc. Have you double checked that the in-game audio levels for Music, Dialogue, and Sound Effects are even? I do not know of any ME2 mods which intentionally edit audio in the way you describe, so it's unlikely you installed some mod that broke it in this way.
I put everything (volume I mean) back up to max I had everything low because this headset makes everything 10x louder, (makes playing Escape From Tarkov about 10x more painful too) so I had to turn it all down, but now everything seems to be fine. Its weird cause everything sounded fine OUTSIDE of the cutscenes when the volume was lower but at least this is fixed now. Thanks for the help :P

Let me know if you find a solution or learn more.
