Is there any chance this can be shifted to work with Legendary? Bw has taken the secondary blinking out of Thane's eyes, and I was hoping this would put it back only... It's not for Legendary.
Or if you could point me to someone's mod that fixes this? It would be much appreciated!!
I’ve noticed this too! It really bothered me that BioWare took away the second pair of eyelids and I can’t believe no one is talking about it! I would love to see this mod or a similar one be made to restore them for LE.
The textures are part of MEUITM2 where you can choose Blur style or Vanilla style. I decided to keep the mesh mods and textures separate to simplicity of troubleshooting.
Really, really impressive work! Look forward to using it in my next playthrough :)
Glad to see you still around in the ME modding scene and will very much look forward to ME2 MEUITM! Very excited for the customisable installer, I loved having the option to choose which variants I preferred with the MEUITM anniversary edition 2018 <3
Yes more coming. You can see a collage of Mordin in ME2 screenshots section of The nexus here:
https://www.nexusmods.com/masseffect2/images/611.
I am doing a MEUITM2 with fully customizable installer, so you'll be able to choose each texture to be installed and it's variants. I will also be updating MEUITM for ME1 to have this feature.
I released Thane like this because he required a mesh mod because he was actually broken. The others will be at least so far texture based.
You don't have to worry about performance with texture mods. As long as you have more than 4GB of RAM and your game runs smoothly in vanilla you're fine. Textures don't tank FPS
I think so because the eyelids in the dlc were fixed. ironically under the visor. Worth a shot. let me know if it doesn't and I'll see what I can do to make it compatible.
Alright, i did my experiment, I can confirm the eyelids work fine. But it does seem the Pupils are not as vivid. Actually i took a better look and i dont think its using your skin at all. Just the eyelids are working.
So it seems to be overwriting my mod for those scenes. Which makes sense since to remove the visor the entire head mesh may need replacing. I have a fix I will upload after work, in like 10 hours. I think you can get away installing the textures which I have as a .mem file to fully resolve.
So install would go; vanilla game ME2RE meshmods like this ALOT Then manual Thane mem textures which I will share tonight. And play.
In fact I may simplify this mod not to include the textures tfc and just require the .mem installation for full effect and better compatibility for situations like this. That's the format I have going for T.I.M. and Mordin at the moment anyway and it seems to work well enough.
The reason is down the road once I release MEUITM2 you can run that after ALOT and be done with it.
But for this mod alone, ALOT is not required. You can use mod manager for the mesh mod and MEM accessible via mod manager to directly install the .mem I have uploaded to apply the textures. But this will make Thane the only thing in your game that's modded.
So this approach is only useful for testing. For full modded experience yes you want ALOT installed as well.
Not from what I can tell. Kolyat has different eyes and the Drel in LOTSB is working so they fixed the issue in DLC. I will probably do some Kolyat textures though since they can port over to ME3.

I like your textures very much, more than I've seen from ALOT. Also I don't have a high performance PC so just MEUITM was enough for me.

I can't wait to see the rest of the characters other than Garrus and Thane that you've already posted.
Do you have an approximate date for ME2 MEUITM?
PS: I hope that the performance of my PC will be sufficient... But if I can choose every texture I want then maybe it will be enough! :)
