Can't currently confirm as that mod is hidden. But I imagine it edits the common HUD element files that all weapons use - the backgrounds behind the weapon icons, etc. - rather than the three specific weapon icons I edited. In this case, both should work. However, If that mod does edit these weapon files and their icons directly, only one mod will work.
Test with both installed. If these weapons have transparent hud but the icon positions are not fixed, or vice versa, they are not compatible and a manually merged patch of the two mods would be required.
Using ME3Tweals Mod Manager 6.2.1 (Build 115) which is, as far as I can tell, the most up to date version, I'm getting an error importing this mod (downloaded from here on Nexus - listed as Version 1.1). Mod Manager gives a pop-up window with the following:
"Improperly Deployed Mod
This archive contains a mod that was built using ME3Tweaks Mod Manager, but the archive that was distributed was not created by ME3Tweaks Mod Manager. The mods in this archive may not be fully supported or have other issues.
Mods designed for ME3Tweaks Mod Manager should be deployed through it. Contact the developer and ask them to deploy the mod properly through Mod Manager."
After dismissing the pop-up (clicking OK), everything seems to import just fine and appears normal, but hey.. it told me to contact the developer, so I'm contacting. ^_^
In any case, thanks for this. May be a minor issue, but those icons being offset the way they were used to drive me nuts. Guess I have a bit of OCD or something. ;)
Thanks for the report. Yeah all the files in the archive are correct and work with ME2, but were zipped with 7zip and not the Mod Manager. Makes no difference on the game but I guess the new Mod Manager version doesn't prefer that.
New users can keep downloading just fine, but I might address this in a small update soon.
I believe this is because my fix is based off of an ALOT load order. If people are installing texture mods at the end, those textures write into my mod files and everything looks good. If you don't install texture mods though, my mod likely is conflicting with vanilla textures.
I'll rebuild it based off a vanilla install and release as an update. Hang tight.
It should then look fine with and without texture mods.
Updated the mod. It should no longer cause black textures for anyone not using texture mods. Will still work fine for texture mod users as long as those mods are installed after this one.
Unforunately, no. Fixing that would involve creating several vector icons from scratch and importing them to a custom flash file, and is beyond the scope of this mod. If it's positioned correctly, this mod doesn't address it.
"-To uninstall the mod, click on ME2 DLC Weapons - HUD Icon Fix in the left window, then go to Mod Utils> Delete Mod from Library."
This only removes the mod from your library. It doesn't remove it from the game (as the tooltip states). You need to go into 'Manage Target' and then delete the DLC mod.
