Hello there! I've downloaded this mod and it's simply amazing. Do you happen to know if there is a ME3 standalone version of this? I don't like a lot of the modification that Scottina123 did in Project Variety, but I'm having no luck in finding a mod like yours.
Thanks for the answer. I asked if it's possible to do so in the mod page, I'll wait an answer from someone. I highly doubt it's possible, however, because the Oriana file is in the extras and not in the main mod. As far as I understand the main mod is required for the extras to work.
Just curious about the moddesc.ini that is unzipped outside of the DLC_MOD_ORIANA folder. I used ME3Tweaks mod Manager 6.2 to install you're mod, but I searched the game files and haven't found it in any file. Where is it supposed to be located? I threw it into the Biogame/Config file just for the heck of it, but it will be awhile before I get to the Oriana section of the game, so would you let me know where it should be?
This is great, Miranda says they're identical not fraternal.
Project variety also gets rid of SR2 on non-normandy NPCs, now if only someone would make such a mod for Mass Effect 2, unless they make project variety for Mass Effect 2
This mod looks really interesting and I like that there are several choices of texture and hairstyle for Oriana. :)
Just a little suggestion: is it possible for the version New 3.0 (the one with Oriana's vanilla coiffure) to have black hair instead of brown, please? That would match Miranda's hair color and the version Project Variety uses.
Actually, Miranda has brownish color in ME2. I will look into what Oriana will be in the new Project Variety version, as she is being updated too. If necessary, I will look into making a version that resembles the most. :)
Miranda's hair in ME2 looks darker than vanilla Oriana's. And you're right, I should have used dark brown instead of black. I haven't installed Project Variety yet so maybe Oriana's image on the mod page is not up to date, but her hair looks darker.
In any case, thank you very much for considering it! :D
This looks like a great mod, unfortunately it's not working for me. I've installed the latest version 3.1 through Mod manager, but when I play it's still the vanilla Oriana. I checked in my DLC files, the mod is there, but still. Don't know what to do to get it working.
Oh! When the log is generated, you get an internet window open. Just copy and paste the web address here so I can read it and hopefully understand what's wrong with the mod in your game
Oh, advanced enemies mod conflicts with this one. We both edit the same file and theirs has higher priority. That's why. I will be contacting the mod developer to offer a compatibility patch.
Thank you! I am seeing more people loving the Ellise option, so I am glad it exists. I have also been told that Ellise's will be available for the next Project variety release, allowing for continuity to those using both mods :)
I never got the impression they were supposed to be identical, it's never stated that the same material was used to make both of them only that they had identical genetic traits. Otherwise why wouldn't have Bioware just remodelled the mesh for Oriana instead of creating a new one totally.
The way I understand genetics, is that if they are identical, they should look the same. Anyways, the mod is an option and not forced on anyone. If you don't like it, you simply can skip it
I got the impression she was a twin, maybe some 10-15 years younger, but genetically a twin. If she's already 'perfect', why change a good thing? I always assumed Oriana didn't look like her sister because of something to do with reusing celebrity likeness along with the age.
They don't really say HOW she was made (cloning? IVF?) If it's cloning, then they should look the same...but if it's IVF they could plausibly have had their DNA come together slightly differently when it comes to physical looks. Real twins are not 100% identical, even if they are categorized as identical twins...take it from a real twin
I'm sure this is a good mod for those who would argue that they are clones
Miranda says specifically that she has a 'twin' and I believe even says that they are identical 'genetically' during her loyalty quest but that her father 'grew' Oriana when Miranda was a teenager. Miranda also says that she didn't have a mother that her father's Y chromosome was altered... that sounds like cloning to me and so they should look alike.
There maybe one significant difference between them. Miranda is infertile and it's hard to have a dynasty that way. Oriana might have been grown to fix Miranda's infertility. Could be why he 'let' Miranda go but tried so hard to get Oriana back.
Yes! Thank you so much for this! I really wanted for something like this to exist and ever since I saw the one in Project Variety I wished someone would make it for ME2.
I was in the same boat; waiting for it to happen. Eventually I decided it was time to learn to do it myself if it wasn't happening :D I'm glad you will be able to enjoy it on your future runs!

I have also been searching for a similar mod for Ash's Sister Sarah Williams. I can't wait to use this on Mass Effect Legendary Edition.
