   Why it isn`t work for me =( I tried different options, there are changes in the file, but they do not work.

   Is there any way to use this without using the mod manager? What exactly does this change?

      If you open that file with normal notepad (RMB -> open with), you can see which entries are added/deleted/altered and where they are located. You can, with this knowledge, edit your Coalesced file manually with Notepad++.

      It should be noted that editing the coalesced.ini will likely lead to the game crashing at startup, because the file is actually checked for editing with some kind of integrated checksum based on file size.
      Use https://www.nexusmods.com/masseffect2/mods/116/ to fix.
