If anyone is having trouble installing and use No Minigames + Remove Shared Cooldown this is what you do (in this order): .
1) Download and install the content mods you want to install. 2) Download and install No Minigames with ME3Tweaks Mod Manager. 3) Download and install Remove Shared Cooldown with ME3Tweaks Mod Manager. 4) Download Remove Shared Cooldowns patch for No MiniGames. I quote CreeperLava: "Once you downloaded the patch you need for the particular combination you want from here, extract the file you downloaded and paste the SFXGame.pcc file inside into the following folder: ...\Mass Effect 2\BioGame\CookedPC". You'll be asked to overwrite the existing file, select Yes. If there is no overwrite prompt, you copied the file in the wrong place"
I may be corrected, how ever i can confirm that this method works.
I had trouble making this work for a long time. The thing is: I wasnt manually installing and I left an backup folder inside Mass Effect 2\BioGame\CookedPC with the original SFXGame.pcc inside it. I think it was the backup that was ruining it, as some user said something about that. TL;DR: Install manually and do not make backup in the same folder of CookedPC.
Steps: 1: Download No Minigames https://www.nexusmods.com/masseffect2/mods/63 2: Download THIS mod (Remove Shared Cooldowns compatiblity patch for No MiniGames and ME2Controller) 3: Drag and drop all files from No Minigames inside Mass Effect 2\BioGame\CookedPC 4: Drag and drop the file from THIS mod inside Mass Effect 2\BioGame\CookedPC 5: Everything must be done manually (without mod managers) 6: ??? 7: profit
This mod version of SFXGame.pcc takes care of the shared cooldown and the planetary probe minigame. The No Minigames files named -> Startup_BRA, Startup_DEU, Startup_FRA, Startup_INT, Startup_ITA, Startup_POL <- THESE are the responsible for making the minigames of hacking and bypassing auto-complete. At least in this configuration of mods. Wish this helps someone in the future.
How do i install it? Im still confused, the way i install it just drag the file to cooked folder but the problem is both cooldown and minigames have same pcc file, and also how do i use i install the patch?
I'm a bit confused, do I still need to download and install the No Minigames mod separately before this mod, or is this a mod that already contains the No Minigames as kinda like a 2-in-1 combo mod? i.e. do I need to download the original "No Minigames" and "Remove Shared Cooldowns" mods before installing this "patch"?
It's not directly compatible, you'd need a specific patch since they both edit the same file. Vignette Remove already includes patches for ME2Controller and No Minigames, you just have to follow the instructions in my description to patch that for RSC.
When using this mod with No MiniGames and ME2Controller along with ALOT. After I have loaded up a save it plays fine but i can't scan any planets and I get no pop up for picking for modules/materials etc... I was wondering if this has happened to anyone else
