Hm, would it be possible to just switch Liara's vanilla texture to the one she uses in LOTSB? If so, how? Part of the reason I'm wondering is that this seems to have been achieved in the last 6 images for this mod.
I believe he used ALOT's optional file that: "Makes Liara's face consistent between the main game, the LoTSB DLC and ME3." at least according to the file description. But since I didn't download that optional texture I can't 100% confirm for you if this is what is happening here. Only the mod author himself or someone else who downloaded it would be able to clear that up for sure.
I checked, and that was close, but those textures are in ALOT's image library, and they're not spot-on. The main giveaway is the lip color. However, I was able to find out through someone on Reddit that you can actually extract and rename Liara's SB texture, and then reinstall it via the ALOT Installer in order to get what the mod author achieved. I haven't tested it, but the info that the guy on Reddit told me lines up well with this mod's images.
This looks good! I'll have to try it. I always thought ME1 Liara was the best looking. I know she's supposed to look older but there's only been 2 years and Asari have a much longer lifespan so it's basically no time at all.
The resolution is a bit lower than that of JeanLuc's texture, which is the default in A L O T. However, the A L O T developers also acknowledge that the vanilla texture is weird and offer an optional download of the LOTSB vanilla texture, which is the same resolution as these ones.
Of course, if anyone wants to upscale these, feel free to do so. It's not really that worth it, though (see the screenshots).
No, these .mod files target the main game texture, not the texture for Liara-the-squadmate. Those textures are slightly different in vanilla too. I think I could recreate the changes between the two so as to make these applicable to the squadmate texture as well, but I'm not at LOTSB yet so it will have to wait a bit.
And yea, I don't like the changes they made since ME1 either. Though I think there was more damage done to the personality than to the looks...
Done; the current version sets both the Illium Liara and squadmate/Broker Base/Normandy visit Liara to the same texture.
I didn't know they used the LOTSB texture for the visit; it's weird because in vanilla it seems to have some soot, which is appropriate after a building explosion, but not in captain's quarters! So this also fixes that issue. That makes the ending scene pretty nice. (I'll try and put a few screenshots from there.)

Does this mean that Liara will look the same during the main game and LOTSB?
It really bothers me that Bioware changed Liara for the sequels. She looked perfect in ME1.
