This is a fantastic little mod - the female lashes look tons better than Bioware's ugly defaults in ME1! - however it also happens to remove male eyelashes from the game. Oh no!
    I did a bit of digging and unpackaged the .mem file, which presented the following four .dds files;
    HMF_HED_PROLash_Opac_M01_0x3F8D1A84.dds
    HMF_HED_PROLash_Opac_M02_0xBD675EF4.dds
    HMM_HED_PROLash_Opac_M01_0x8BCC64DB.dds
    HMM_HED_PROLash_Opac_M01_0x12B09936.dds

The two beginning HMF are the human female lashes which have been changed to the much more natural look. When previewed, they appear as a white 'stencil' of the lashes upon a black background. The two latter files beginning HMM are for human males, and both appear completely blank - just black, no white lash 'stencil'. The result is, when replacing the game's defaults with these, eyelashes are removed from all male characters.

I've reported this as a bug, but all that's needed is to remove the male lash replacements from this mod and repackage it and it'll be good to go.

For those who still want to use this mod before it's fixed, just use MEM to unpackage the Natural Eyelashes.mem file. Keep the two files beginning HMF, and ditch the two files beginning HMM. You can then apply them to your game - whether ME1, 2 or 3 - either by using Mass Effect Modder to search for the filenames and replacing them manually (right-click and select 'Replace Texture' then browse to the file location and select), or by dragging and dropping into the A.L.O.T installer which will do it for you, easy-peasy. Enjoy!

I did this but my imported Broshep from ME1 doesn't have eyelashes. However the default male shep does. A custom face doesn't have eyelashes either. hmmmmm wondering why exactly that could be the case. I will say I unpackaged the .mem file and then dragged the two needed for the mod into the ALOT installer and installed. Did I do something wrong here? Any way to uninstall?

Could you elaborate about how to unpack with MEM? Latest MEM installed this addon instead of unpacking it.
Also, I can download old version of the mod of 2 files - how to create a mem file of them if that is easier done?

Unfortunately, original developer of the mod is MIA.

This actually causes my FemShep to have no eyelashes instead of modded. I tried the method described by Turquoiseturian, to repackage the mod, with no success; MEM will install but the game still shows zero eyelashes even with the HMM files removed, and ALOT doesn't recognize the file for installation. Thanks.

Edit: Ran into issues with the DLC not verifying, so wound up reinstalling, and gave this mod a second shot. Every time I run MEM to install the eyelashes it also messes with the DLC. I wound up having to reinstall several DLC packs after installing the mod (even though MEM instructs us to have them preinstalled, etc.). Second time around I got the eyelashes to install and show up in-game (using the repackage method below, still won't install otherwise), BUT it caused a weird lighting glitch which caused there to be no light sources around Shepard in-game and the intro menu was black; found a post on Reddit with the same issue and used their fix of deleting the ME2 folder in Documents. (I think this might have to do with MEM and not the mod itself, but I'm not savvy enough to know for sure.) So long story short, it was a really convoluted process to get this thing to work, but it does, with persistence. Thanks.

First of all want to say awesome mod! but does the .tpf file currently work for you? I've loaded up my mods as usual in TexMod but this mod is the only one that isn't visible in-game.

Edit: nevermind, turns out it's my game that won't load any lash mod for some reason

Congrats on your first mod, thanks for sharing . Just a few notes :
    - There's a dedicated DLC patch for ME2, available here : https://github.com/Erik-JS/masseffect-binkw32/releases/latest
It's safer than replacing the executable.
    - Textures have hashes (you can find them in Texplorer), you can append those hashes to your DDS files. It's much simpler to install those textures then, with TPF Tools. No need to search in Texplorer, the tool finds the textures automatically.
    eg HMF_HED_PROLash_Opac_M01_0x3F8D1A84.dds
Btw, I haven't found the textures you provide in ME2, only in ME3.
    - You may want to look into MEM, a new alternative to ME3Explorer. It's much faster and less buggy There's a wiki to get you started : https://github.com/MassEffectModder/MassEffectModder/releases

Thank you once again. I've successfully made the mods compatible with Texmod and MEM (and TPF Tools) :D
