    For those who are upset with the car camera being too low having difficult to see the road, you just need to adjust
    tables.sds\config\game_camera\car_hood.xml
    by changing the RelativeOffset.LocalZOffset third value (which is the Z axis) from 3.03 to 0.35, which will make the camera go a little up and fitting perfectly to the vehicles.

    To do this you will have to use Mafia tool kit to unpack the tables.sds and then repack after editing the xml file.
    its not hard, you can do it =)

    i could upload here the sds file but im not sure if it would comply to the rules...

    Hace falta una actualización para corregir errores en este mod!!!!. hace rato la estoy esperando, es una lástima no poder jugar el juego en 1ra persona, ya que jugar en 3ra persona para mí, le quita toda la inmersión al juego.

    in most cars you sit way too low ,i presume this is because of the static height of the camera in fps ,which matches the actual head ,but cars are not modeled with fps in mind so there is an offset =(

    PROS: Works in cars.

    CONS: Doesn't work on foot.

    Using Scripthook Revamped because the other one made my fps 2.

    Any help appreciated.

    Regardless of my problem NICE mod thanks very much.

    PROS: free, works, amazing getting to play an open world mob game in first person
    CONS: can cause crashes, and conflicts with outfit changing mods (outfit will be locked)

    Great mod, its not perfect but is honestly really f'ing cool and still works. But, like I said, not perfect. Can cause crashes when used in story mod, especially on the race mission, which can almost lock you out of the game because if you try going into first person in the race car it crashes, but then the next time it will just start in first person and crash before you can do anything, so you need to go to free mode, get into the race car, switch to third person, go back to story mode and do it again (just in case this happens to anyone else lol).

    But to be able to play an open world 1930s mob game in FIRST PERSON! its pretty insane. Free mode is definitely more conducive to the first person camera but you can use it through the whole story mode on and off. It is a little lame you can change outfits but I think this is due to the headless outfits that it switches to, which works really well in game and is a compromise I'm willing to make for sure a unique experience.

    Conclusion: It works, just install Nomad scripthook, drop these files in, and run.

    Love the mod. Does this mod stop you from being able to change outfits? I can't seem to change clothes anymore which is kinda a bummer.

      dang, mega bummer. Im running into this now, and seeing it was a problem back in 22, I'm assuming there's sadly no fix. I think it's due to this mod needing to control the player model, by matching the outfit your wearing with a headless variant. Oh well though, in first person its not a huge deal not having outfit customization, especially when you get quite a good first person open world mob game with this installed, which is a dream come true for many. My biggest issue though is all the crashes this mod can cause

    Was having issues with invalid keybind with Scripthook r96 and the MANUAL install version of the mod. It seems to still have had version 1.1 instead of 1.2.

    If anyone else is having the issue I edited the text in the Manifest.json. Erase what is in your file and replace it with this:

    {
    "name": "Mafia First Person",
    "author": "3LC",
    "enableAutoRefresh": true,
    "version": "1.2",

    "entrypoint": "FirstPerson.lua",
    "keyBinds": {
    "firstperson": "C"
    },
    "keyBindsInfo": [
            {
                "info": "Change Camera",
                "name": "firstperson",
                "text": "First Person"
            }
        ]
    }

    All credit still goes to the original author, I just fixed the keybind coding and the version number. It now works in my game :)

      Want to clarify

      Im not sure if enableAutoRefresh is needed or not, with that in mind you can just add everything that I did after the original, but do NOT forget the " , "

      ,
      "keyBindsInfo": [
              {
                  "info": "Change Camera",
                  "name": "firstperson",
                  "text": "First Person"
              }
          ]
      }

    Is there any way to get this to work while also being able to change outfits? If I have this mod installed, Tommy's outfits stay default and refuse to change into anything else
