I'm at a loss here. I've put the PBM files in the override but they don't change the armor. I get the updated item picture in my inventory, but wearing the armor doesn't look different. I do have Ultimate Character Overhaul, but I don't have any conflicting TGA files. I've tried renaming these files like one of the suggestions below. But it still doesn't work.
Are you sure there aren't any file conflicts? Because I looked at my own UCO mod zip file, and it has these same files. If you haven't manually deleted them, they're probably in a subfolder you didn't look in.
maybe to late but Ultimate character overhaul does modifies archives related to these armor but they are not .tga files so just delete the archives that have the same names as the .tga files leaving only the .tga textures
Really want to use this but the instructions are a little too vague for how many files there are and I don't want to mess anything up trying to install them :(
You can't get all the variants at once, since there's only a couple of armors that use these textures. The P*BM* should work if they're in the override folder or a separate folder in the override folder (but no deeper than that). Do you maybe have other textures in the override by the same name?
Fortunately, you can't really break anything with these files - they're just in your override or not.
I had the same problem. In my case it was a conflict between Ultimate Character Overhaul -REDUX- and this mod as the overhaul overwrites the same textures aswell. Vortex did not detect the conflict since the overhaul places the modded files in a subfolder within override and has different file extension (tpc instead of tga). If you have a mod that alters any armor textures then find the modifications in the override folder then simply delete them (or rename them with backup suffix). It worked like a charm to me. I know my answer is little late but it still might be usefull for you or anyone else having the same problem.
Dude I would slap your ass and say a sincere "thank you" if you'd be willing to do a version that got rid of the skirt part of the robe. Just a transparent texture should do. Either way, great looking retex man.
Yeah, I was also thinking about the possibility of replacing some of the regular Jedi Robes with textures wrapped around this model (because the old engine doesn't really do flowing fabric too well IMO), but the tubes kinda put a damper on that, too. Unfortunately, my current modding skills are pretty much limited to editing textures with GIMP.

Essentially just with a black cape on the back.
Update: So far, I've only been able to get the icons to work. Whenenever I copy over the P*BM* files, they don't change anything.
