UPDATE (10.08.2021): Mod updated to Version 3.0.
Mod remade completely from scratch (again). Now using new upscale models, some textures recieved a significant upgrade. Also featuring brand new LITE version, which is a middle ground between Vanilla and UCO as well as new updated TPC versions, which offer better performance and much smaller file size without noticeable quality loss.

Do we need to download this mod as both TGA and TPC? thanks

No, only choose one. Check mod description for information regarding mod compatibility.

so i noticed using the canonical jedi exile patch turns the hair of the 5th female head from brown to a sort of dirty...ish blonde (i see hints of brown at the ends and roots) was this on purpose? if so it makes the portrait not match the character (as the portrait keeps the brown hair of the original mod) and before you ask i do not have any other mods that alter this head just UCO and canonical jedi exile

Blonde is the original hair color for that face model so it probably means Canonical Jedi Exile wasn't installed properly. Reinstall Canonical Jedi Exile and then install the compatibility patch from optional files, in that order.

And if you downloaded TPC version of UCO you will need to delete duplicate files in your override folder, otherwise UCO will always take priority over TGA mods. And Canonical Jedi Exile is a TGA mod so that's important. There are instructions on UCO description page.

Any news on the Google Drive/MediaFire download link version? I still hate how NexusMods is limiting the downloads up to 100kb/s when I have this blazing fast internet speed.

But still, consider this message well, Time is Gold.

Hey this is a dumb question on my part but I was wondering if there is some way to get rid of Dark side corruption texture? I tried installing another mode but this mod overrides it. I've read going into files and replacing LS face textures with the DS textures but I didn't know any solution off the top of my head so I thought maybe posting this here will hopefully answer some of my questions.

Well you can install the other mod after this one and it will overwrite it instead, but you will be stuck with low resolution textures. You can just go into Override folder, find the specific face you are using and replace all corrupted variations with a copy of original light side face.

Will this just overwrite the companion and player character's head models or will it also change how clothing looks on the characters too? I'm willing to have my character's faces look slightly lower res compared to everyone else if it means having better dark side looks and keeping the overhaul armor models on my character/companions.

It depends on mod contents, but generally face textures are separate from clothing. So by overwriting my mod only face textures will be changed.

im not really sure what the difference between the compressed and uncompressed download is apart from the size...

there is no visible difference between the .tpa and .tpc files, only impact will be the smaller file size helps the game run smoother, hence why .tpc files always take priority over .tpa files in game

If .tpc files always take precedent over .tga, then the compatibility patches won't work with the compressed variant of the mod, as they are all .tga?

may be an outdated question but how compatible is this with the TSLCRM?

There's a compatibility patch which covers TSLRCM textures and prevents compatibility issues. But even without it you shouldn't encounter any issues as long as you overwrite Character Overhaul with TSLRCM.

Is there a .zip alternative? For Mac users?

    Thanks.

People say that the "2X Default Scale" version means 2K resolution and the "4X Default Scale" is 4K. Is that true?

No it doesn't. It's the multiplier that was used during upscaling process. So 2X version textures are twice as big as vanilla while 4X are four times larger. Actual texture resolution varies as it's not consistent. And has nothing to do with monitor resolution by the way, and 2K is actually 1080p since 4K is 2160p.
