So here's a thing. During the second crash on Telos (The scene with everyone freaking out in the shuttle). The floor and side pipes are pitch black. I have the transparency fix install. Note I am using a Nvidia card. Pinned it down to LEH_brwall03.tga & LEH_floor05.tga. I noticed that neither one of these textures have a Alpha channel (not sure if that means anything). Also created a TXI file for each pointing to BareMetal map ( just incase). Well the main problem is I have about 20 mods installed. Including but not limited to, KOTOR II Restoration Mod, M4-78 (and some patches for it), the Community Patch, HD Back Drops, HD Stars & Nebulas, Dustil Restoration, Admiralty Patch for Carth, Alot of Ultimate Texture overhaul's textures with a few from this mod sprinkled in. Not sure if anyone can help, just putting this out there. Thanks
Thanks for the hard work that you put in for us, I have a question. I came a cross a glitch where computer screens, monitors would scroll threw every screen texture making it light up like a Christmas tree lol I was searching in forums and saw one post on reddit and they pointed it being an issue with your mod. if you in your past have come across such issues or maybe know what i am talking about can you tell me how i would go on resolving the situation. That is the only error I get.
I have the same issue with this mod, some monitors are like you said just "scrolling" stretched images across them, and yes without this mod it doesnt happen. It could be a number of conflicts with any number of textures, with already existing/installed mods however so I dont put the blame on this, but its pretty distracting.
I tried with both not overwriting any files, and overwriting files, and the result is the same.
That perfectly describes what's happening to me, is it looking like this? https://youtu.be/giFMPsrHpCo?si=YducnY6x5xEmpgcb I finally get to Dxun and can't stand it anymore, I uninstalled all texture mods, this, Citadel Station Signage and Holopanels, I don't think any of these could conflict to mess up the computer displays though.
Тhis mod can be reason of your crashes before movies. I spent a lot of time to understand it in my kotorII build, sad but true. I use it in some points before movies and it always crashes. Problem started first time at Peragus, when you play T3M4, and try to enter Fuel Administration level. If you remove mod, game not crashed. Problems with movies starts at Telos station when you try to go Restoration zone, and military base when you try to go secret academy on shattle. It continues when you got a talk with T3M4 on academy and should run first movie with nihilus and etc. when I remove this mod, movies get work again. I don't know why it's happening, but it is. Win 10, steam aspyre version. I love how looks Peragus and Telos station/military base with this mod, but I can't use it. If you can find a problem point it will be great
You said "Ebon Hawk computer screens/panels are from Dark Hope and all of them together are found in the "International Global mod" which seems to feature a lot of his work."
Probably wasn't uploaded by Facemeltingsolo. Most of the mods on Kotor 2's Workshop weren't uploaded, nor did they have permission to be uploaded, by the original mod author. The unofficial patch is proper, that's the real deal. Everything else, assume stolen.
This is mostly straight upscale which I like. Too bad there isn't an entire texture pack upscale like KOTOR1, https://www.nexusmods.com/kotor/mods/1302. Unfortunately, now we have to deal with contrast between HD textures and Default ones that crop up... I do wish Sephadur would do one for TSL.
I have noticed a slight incompatibility with Kexikus' mods Backdrop Improvements and High Quality Starfields and Nebulas. On Goto's yatch some texture glitches can be observed: - A strange spiky pillar in the exterior defense room - A texture wall seen when entering the interior defense room. You can go through it, though - Odd textures seen through the window where you would be able to see the Ebon Hawk All of this issues are easily fixed by removing both 351narsb.mdl and 351NARsb.mdx from the Override folder.
So what file do I add the mod to? I saw a video telling me to add this to the override file, but wasn't sure. Can anyone direct me to a place to show me how to apply any/all mods?
This guide gives a pretty good overview of the mod installation process, together with some guidelines on what to pay attention to - https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=488641307 If the mod doesn't come with a TLSpatcher executable, then manually placing the mod files in the override folder is indeed how it's done.
The 'KOTOR 2 Full Build' linked to in the following reddit post (if you're new to the game and want to avoid spoilers, the 'KOTOR 2 Spoiler-Free Build' is the link you want to click on) - https://www.reddit.com/r/kotor/comments/hbuqry/kotor_1_and_2_mod_builds_guaranteed_compatibility/ is a good place as well to learn a thing or two about KOTOR modding.
I'm currently putting together my first modded build for KOTOR 2, heavily inspired by the one described in the reddit post, but using the override folder in located in the Steam workshop folder as install directory instead of the actual game install directory. Opinions on which override folder to use seem to be divided, but to me it seems pretty convenient to not directly modify the base game files.
My game crashed after the cutscene beginning the descent to Telos's surface (leaving the hangar + flying over the station), I removed all files containing "TEL" from my override folder (all from this mod), and the game no longer crashed. Has anyone else had this issue and narrowed it down to a specific file? Telos do be looking kinda ugly without this mod :/ No problems anywhere else with any other textures.
I also should note that I saw the cutsceen of Nilius and visas mar early but that didn't really cause any bugs after I loaded a previous save when finishing the last ithorian quest. But this time the load previous save trick didn't work.
I've been getting some crashes here and there but nothing I couldn't troubleshoot myself. Until now that is. Once I got to the polar region of Telos for the first time and walked to the academy doors the cutscene would automatically trigger that shows two handmaidens approaching the crashed shuttle and then the game closes itself. I'm not even shown the cutscene where you're surrounded. it just strait up plays the cutscene and then closes. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

EDIT: I just deleted those two files and it seemed to just revert to the default files which is good enough for me

That would be HER work, not HIS.
