When i use "PPFX_Godrays" in Realistic_Kotor_v3 my screen is black. If I do not turn it on, picture is fine. Do you have any solution?
    P.S. I use Reshade v 4.8.1.

You can use previous versions of Reshade, 4.2 e.g.
New versions very unstable in OpenGL games: many shaders cause the blackscreen.
      But Crosire does nothing: https://reshade.me/forum/troubleshooting/5375-kotor-kotor-ii-issues-with-reshade-4#38410

Try to delete reshade-shaders folder and install again.

Black screen happens in ReShade version 4.x. Gotta use a 3.x version instead. You can get older versions from the ReShade Repository: https://www.mediafire.com/folder/8ar1jhh1809cl/ReShade_Repository

I actually highly recommend trying out your own ReShade presets. Simply install ReShade (The version this modder points to) and direct it to your Kotor 2 exe. Download all the standard presets it asks you about, and start the game. You should see some stuff at the top of the screen when you start it up. Start a new game and create a quick character, enter the prolouge and look at the doorway to the ebon hawk's cockpit. press shift+f2 to open the reshade setup, and it should give you a short tutorial. press continue and finish, and you should be met with two windows inside the reshade window (the reshade window can be moved around and resized as you see fit).

The top window has boxes to check, and the bottom has a list of values. I recommend going through the checkboxes and checking only the ones that say bloom and lens flares, coulorful, curves, dpx, and fake hdr. This will make your game far more colorful and darker at the same time. You might also want to choose adaptive sharpen to make any new retextures you may have downloaded look sharper. MXAO might make your game look better, but it seems to take up a lot of power and it does something weird with the menus, creating strange lines and such. If your game can handle it, try the ambient light or reflective bumbmapping options, but my game automatically caps at 30fps when i choose too many settings, or otherwise goes down when facing the sparking effect near the security console down the hall.

Of course, those checkboxes have slightly different names than the ones i provided because they have other letters and numbers and such attached to them, but there aren't too many to sift through. When you find a setup you like, press the + icon in the reshade window, name the preset, and press enter (Actually you should probably do this before checking the boxes as it clears the selection, just recheck them if this happens to you.) press shift+f2 again to close the window (I had to click the small white x that appears after this to ACTUALLY fully close it, or simply pressing shift+f2 again to open reshade again and then the same keys again for everything to dissapear, strangely.) Now your game will load that preset whenever you start it, until you want to change it.

I realize it doesn't sound like I'm supporting this mod, so I'll say I also recommend trying these presets out if you wish, especially if you don't want to go through all of what I said.

Oh, and the ReShade window has a settings tab where you can make an fps counter and such appear, if that helps.

      1. It is need to download latest Reshade from offsite (There is a link under the Requirements spoiler).
      2. Install Reshade to Kotor2 folder with swkotor2.exe (You need also check Yes to install all standard effects).
      3. Put these presets in the Kotor2 folder.
      4. Run the game, type Shift+F2 and select prefered preset.
