in the short guide I just said "edit away" to quickly get through the pretty big part of making your own mod
this is the very long version of that for people who are just getting into this for the first time.
1. So you have all the files downloaded and you have something to edit them, right?
If you don't; I suggest something like paint.net or gimp or photoshop to edit the files properly, with gimp and photoshop you'll need a plugin to properly read .dds files, but with paint.net youll be able to work with them right off the bat.
If you do, we move on. I'll be using paint.net because it's completely free and easy to use.
2. Make a copy of the resources folder and rename it to be "my project" or whatever, this will help...
