Would you be willing to update or make a new version of this mod so that it accesses a single alternate shortcut menu when L2 is held along with L1? I'd be willing to pay a bounty.
The mod was working at first for awhile, but recently it crashes any time I try to switch between shortcuts on the dpad. and if I used L3 or R3 (no matter how many times pressed), it sticks to shortcut 2 specifically but all the shortcuts are reset. What...is going on?
This sounds like it could be an issue with your game version. Are you running the latest version of the game, version 1.0.0.2? You can check by right clicking the Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix exe, and clicking on Properties. If your version is lower than 1.0.0.2, then LuaBackend via DBGHelp.dll won't work on your end.
I had to remove the file that goes in with the exe. files. Otherwise 1.5+2.5 would not even boot. I would double click the icon on my desktop and nothing would happen.
Then it sounds like your game isn't updated to the most recent version. The latest LuaBackend is only compatible with the latest update to KH2. Perhaps you can try the LuaFrontend method.
is it possible to exclude the menu while in limitform? i love the mod and never gonna install but this is the onnnnly complain on that quallity of live mod <3
they might do this, i would recommend just getting Lua, its not hard to setup and it takes like 5 minutes to make it work. this will make it so you dont rely on pcpatch files anymore when it comes to scripts
