Archived for now. Looking to redo the mod on a clean install and save. For some bizarre reason, there seem to be some traces of the mods I have on my game that manage to latch onto this mod(?) and carry over to some users.
Apologies.
New files should be up. Version 1.0 contained traces of my mod list but 1.0.1 should be clean. Version 1.0.3 is up and is what would likely be the final version. This iteration has been tested on the cleanest, purest, vanilla-est save game I could manage and it worked perfectly.
If the mod does not work for you, it's most likely due to a conflict. It could come from an existing mod or any residual effects from an uninstalled mod.
Been using your Mod on and off and also for testing purposes, it works well with my custom reticle mod I just released. Could not find any alternative reticle mods that used anything besides the built-in force reticle.
Using the games built-in reticle will not help much because each ranged weapon/ranged weapon type as well as ammo used can cause your aim to change. There are also perks that will cause your aim to change so using the games default reticle is not reliable.
Due to this its best to have a way to customize your reticles position to fine tune your aiming. Also, since most people use multiple ranged weapons there needs to be a way to switch between different saved presets.
I could not find any mods on here that could do that so I released one. You can make and save 3 reticles with custom on-screen positioning, color and size. The reticles also work while in contests/competitions. Hope this helps, Enjoy!
Great mod, but as a other commentor pointed out, the NPC's seem to also be affected by this. They hit perfect shots in the archery competitions even on beginner.
Something is definitely broken in all the versions since original release, when installing with vortex instead of the mod being added like all other mods it just creates a 'Data' folder in the 'Mods' folder with 2 files in it called '__folder_managed_by_vortex' and 2nd file being an actual shortcut instead of a file called 'noaimsway10s' and the mod does not function.
Was able to fix the issue by editing mod.manifest file to the following:
name - no_sway_ten_sec description - eliminates_sway modid - noaimswaytens
Game seems to have a hard time with upper case letters and numbers being contained in ModID according to the log 'mod.manifest has invalid ModId. ModId accepts only lowercase letters and underscore.'
Where did you get those parameters? Because they are not in the original rpg_param file. The reason i'm asking it's because i'm trying to modify the time scale/speed of the game (time flows too fast imo) and i don't see such parameters. The only one that it's in the original rpg_param is "NightTransitionPeriod" rpg_param_value="2.6" but i assume this is only for night time and even so i don't know what 2.6 means ...hours, 2.6xnormal speed etc.
i did this by binding timescale command to the same key as autosave, the time will reset every cutscene or loading screen otherwise. my config looks like this. "bind f10 e_TimeOfDaySpeed 1" and then i bound F5(Autosave) and F10(TimeSpeed) to one button on my controller using AntimicroX mapper. its 15 by default which imo is insane. 1 seems to be like 30 mins(IRL) per day or so now.

There is perk version which only affects Henry. Check out Rebalanced Aiming (PTF) by bulhaneul.

Custom Reticles (Dial in reticle position for each ranged weapon)
Proof below:
Usually they do 35 to 65 points at max, sometimes ~70 but its realy rare (1 time every 5~10 rounds or so)
Note: I used "NoAimCameraSway + 10sPainlessDelay"
