first off, regardless of whether you reply to my question (below) or not: THANK YOU for updating this awesome mod, and for sharing it with the modding community. I've really enjoyed this set in my current playthrough - it definitely scratched that "stealth archer gear" itch, lol.
second, quick question: I figured out how to edit the mod archive files to update the item stats (just did some rebalancing to match other gear I had been wearing), but one thing I've been stuck on is how to change the item skins.
for instance, let's say I want the boots to look like a dark variant of the riding boots.
I tried changing the "model=" line in the pickable_item file to point to the model for the riding boots, but didn't see any change in-game.
if you have a moment to share your thoughts would appreciate it, but absolutely no pressure! grateful for the time you've already shared with us! =)
PS - the primary two items I want to adjust the appearance of are the boots and the gloves.
the boots because I think the skinny-fit boot style looks odd with the midnight chausses.
the gloves because unfortunately I get weird clipping where Henry's skin shows through the glove randomly during cut scenes, in the inventory menu, etc. was hoping switching to a burlier glove model might fix that, lol.
What specifically is the issue? Should something be buffed? I thought I set the values for some stuff a little low (Or in the case of conspic, high), but on the other hand the goal was to add a layer of immersion with the stats. Ideally you should tell me one of my items and compare the stats of that to an item from the base game. This gear definitely isn't supposed to be weak, it's intended to be tier 1 or 2 stuff.
Latest game version, literally a fresh install as of 4/28/24. Shows ingame: 1.9.6-404-504czj3 Using only two mods, this one and the "Cheat" mod for the console.

mod_order.txt is: #ModOrder Cheat MidnightClothing
Hit ~ to open console, Type in: cheat_add_item id: 158e691a-1337-1337-1337-7583a917e701 it returns: [ERROR] Item [158e691a-1337-1337-1337-7583a917e701] not found.
Added "SPOA Silver Knight Armor for KCD" to check. Added it's Cuirass via console just fine.
Something is wrong with this mod, can't figure out what. Just thought I would let you know.
I had an idea about what might have caused that so I created a test version that I put in misc files. I am busy today though, please let me know whether or not that works. I will look into it more later
Edit: If you read this quick enough the upload may still be processing
I'll keep an eye on the files page and let you know when it's available and I test it.
Edit: Don't know what I did, but it works. Re-downloaded and extracted to a folder just called "midnight" and it worked. I guess it didn't like "MidnightClothing"? lol
This is great, i used cheats to purchase everything cause DANG them are expensive. Boutta break the bank all game long to get everything. I have one stinging issue with the Midnight Gloves, there's a clipping issue that needs to be resolved on Henrys right hand that's horribly distracting, but other than that, all good and a must use for me.

in "clothing_midnight.xml", the morph target field appears to be set incorrectly (for a smaller glove model).
it should be adjusted to: morph_target="#V_002"
(I'm guessing other values would work as well, but confirmed this fixes the clipping)
