I have succeeded in to change the dress of the horse Jenda which is white/gray in this mod with the mod: "Warhorse Jenda as Bay Horse" so that it is a brown color.
Open the .pak file of the mod "Magnificent Horses" with 7zip (right click -> 7-zip -> open) and go to soul.xml, replace Character_body_id, Character_hair_color, Character_hair_id and Character_skin_color of Jenda with the IDS of the mod "Warhorse Jenda as Bay Horse". Save the .xml file and update the .pak file. To update it, you must save it in the folder and replace it. Jenda should therefore look exactly like the horse from the "Warhorse Jenda as Bay Horse" mod.
To find the Jenda Warhorse ID Soul ID: 4d6e66f7-a18a-7c94-a040-24e3faea2492
I imagine you can do the same with other colors. for example if you want your horse to be black, you have to find the corresponding ids.
For example in this mod, it is Podragos who is entirely black. You can copy his color ids and put them in place of another horse so that he too is black.

I also managed to figure out how to change stats manually. I really like Podagros because he's black, I like his name and his description of grumpy <3 He has very low courage, so I wanted to give him the same stats as Jenda which are very good. We just had to change the numbers on the following lines and add the number 17 instead :

This isn't working for me :( I installed the mod using vortex and whereas other mods are working, this one isn't and the blonde manes and tails are driving me insane :( any advice?
Excellent work, as always. Nevertheless, I must object to something. Most of the horses have a reference or origin. Their colors should not be changed. I looked for this together some time ago:
Thank you! I've been considering making a "Lite" version where the horse colors are more in line with the original references. Makes sense and it shouldn't be that hard to remake. My motivation to do this version first is that Tiers 5, 4, 3 had no brown or dark brown horses, so wider selection of colors was my main priority.
Hey Wilecoyote do you think it's possible to use the maneless player horse along with this mod together??? I like this mod but I want it maneless for full caparison???
Huge respect for all the banger mods you’ve developed, I’m using most of them in my current playthru. Would definitely be interested in a lite version of this mod as u mentioned as well, but this is already an improvement over vanilla IMO.

Could you please do mod where you change skin of Istvan's horse from Vranik (black skin and blonde hair) for Bucephalus (or someone else)?
