- Every wonder what makes them so incredibly powerful.
- How do I protect myself against those sneaky bastards

Wonder no more for now there is a group dedicated to bringing you a new armor comprised of Skimmer parts. Has an 80% Dust storm protection that the skimmers have utilized for ages. Incorporates a 1.3 stealth just like the skimmers who seem to pop up out of nowhere. Their tough hide allows for a number of combat abilities that was not previously conceivable until now.

Details

This mod provides an armor/clothing that fits into the shirt slot which I call the Crimson Skimmer Leotard:
- Has 80% weather protection against Dust storms
- Has full coverage (100%) for all body parts excluding the Head
- Skill Bonuses

Combat Def +5
Perception 0
Unarmed +4

Atk Combat Effect +1.1
Atk Damage Effect +1.1
Stealth Effect +1.3
- Cut into Stun is set at .80 in FCS which means that the cut efficiency is at 19% in game (lower is better) you will/should take way less overall damage

Notes
=====
This mod is aimed solely at the Female characters of Kenshi
This was designed as a light leather armor perfect for getting around without being encumbered.
Custom shirt Texture that covers the body excluding the head with amazing Normal Map that far exceeded my expectations
You can put this on a male character, with a caveat it will be just a normal shirt this is expected. (See future plans)
Can only be purchased (You might be able to find the BP as well, as it is set in the FCS but I haven't seen it pop up):
- Armor Vendor Mongrel
- Armor Vendor Ninja
- Shinobi Gear
- has a x4 price multiplier considering all of the goodies it nets you.
Cut into Stun or cut efficiency has been tested and I found that it works as intended. Took some real trial and error as well as some forum research to figure out that lower is better. I would not recommend Attacking Crabs or robot spiders with only this armor equipped they will destroy your character.
Hivers, based in the FCS nearly every piece of leather armor is dedicated to humans unless otherwise specified and so I kept that tradition as well.



Future Plans
============
I have been sitting on this armor for a while (Since March) and my Girlfriend mentioned that I should post it on the Nexus for others to share. However, since I just threw it together there was some really obvious texture weirdness that I recently fixed. Granted there are still some but most of those are minor. The version before this one had inverted the armor texture that reversed the normal map making it super confusing This has been fixed and look really amazing. That being said:

- I do plan on creating a way so that you will be able to craft this armor
I have been considering adding a unique piece of leather like red scales so that you can either research and build or need that specific item to create it every time. I am leaning towards just having it being available only to research and then just sell the rest after the requirements of research have been met.
- Some of you may have already noticed that this is solely a Female Armor:
My current play style has been attaining an army of women and that is basically how I have been playing. All good times. However, when creating this mod, I realized I should probably create a male version. I have some designs in mind to build them That I will start to flesh out, in the meantime is just a normal shirt that you can equip nothing fancy.
- I am considering making alternate colors like a deep blue color, if enough people ask for a certain color I plan on adding it to the Crafting portion in the future.

Install
=======

1. Download Via Nexus and put the file into the Mod folder found in the Kenshi Installation
2. Make sure that the mod is active in the launcher
3. Start Kenshi and enjoy

Uninstall
=========
Delete the folder with the Name Crimson Skimmer Leotard from the mods folder located in the kenshi installation.

Known Issues or Bugs
====================
As you well know the unwrap of the character has made it quite difficult to match up some of the lines when building a texture. I have done what I can to minimize the major culprits however there is still some minor mismatching which is normal.

History
=======
1.0, 2019/6/7 - Initial Release
1.0, 2019/6/7 - Rebuilt Texture front and back as the texture midway to lower half was upside down. This was done on purpose at the time. I didn't know that the lighting on the scales were going to invert when it was made into a Normal map. This made the Normal map look odd and when it was fixed made the normal map look amazing.
1.0, 2019/6/3 - Originally named the Darkblood Snake Leotard, I really liked the texture and found that there were no snakes in the game. Since this isn't lore friendly, I decided to research some of the other besties in game. The closest one with red scales even was the Skimmer. A name change needed to occur. Additionally, the red was too dark and Decided to go a different route. Looked up Crimson Guard from Cobra and found the Crimson and Silver color scheme to be a really awesome.
0.0 2019/3/5 - Created the first rendition of the armor. Looked good but needed several renditions to come out as amazing as it has.

Thanks to Lo-FI Games for creating Kenshi.
While I haven't used their work in my Files I was inspired by the creators of the "Sexy Dark Chainmail" Kenshi mod that was on the Nexus.
- Their texturing was well crafted in the diffuse but all it was was a bikini.
- However their Normal Map left a lot to be desired as there was some color mismatching
- I figured if someone with that much enthusiasm was able to create an armor mod then I should also put one together.
