I'm having a problem with the Defensive wall V towers. I've pre built them prior to building the walls, but I casn't get my people up on top of them. They can go to other walls across them, but not to the top. I'm building in the Pits East. BTW.
i know, i could just test it out. but im afraid to mess things up and break the game. is it compatible with "universal wasteland expansion" ? because it looks like a big mod and im afraid they will conflict.
i installed the no blueprints version of the mod everything is here except the throne, how do i add the throne to my interiors i tried both without genesis and using genesis and still no throne no matter what i do
Absolutely love this mod. Couldn't imagine spending time building outposts without it.
A small question though, why are building materials requirements so high for high walkway and high walkway supports? I mean, 50 for each of them seems drastically too much. I'll probably end up tweaking the mod with the FCS but I'm wondering if there was any particular balancing reason for those cost?.
You're looking at the original walkways that were used in the swamp villages. The mod adds new versions that link together like walls. They only require 1 or 2 building materials and you should find them in the exterior category.
The defensive walls V that this mod adds seem to not have any collision as my characters can just walk through them. The ramps leading up to wall V doesn't work as my characters just get stuck on the ramp and can't get access to the wall.
Press Ctrl+Shift+F11 to rebuild navmesh. That should fix your wall collision. It might fix your ramp as well, but as mentioned in the Defensive Wall V description, the stairs above where the ramp connects are unusually steep and characters may not be able to walk up them when the wall is built on sloped terrain.
Seems the Lagoon Platofrm is a bit finnicky. When ordered to built, the engineers won't start building automatically, you have to manualy equip them with materials and keep right-clicking, until they finish their task, as they do not seem to recognize it as a valid building structure on their own. Once built, only gates and vanilla buildings can be placed on top. The walls will can't be built as well as light posts, street lights, refineries, generators, mounted crossbows and any crafting stations that can be placed both inside and outside of buildings.
I just tried constructing a few Lagoon Platforms (some inside my existing outpost and some in a different area) and my engineers had no problems building them. It sounds like your platform might have become part of a neighbouring town. This can happen sometimes when building on the edge of your outpost radius. Select the Lagoon Platform and check whether your outpost name is shown in the bottom left corner, if not, importing your save should fix it.
I'll be making it possible to build walls and light posts up there, probably in the next big update. Unfortunately, anything with usage nodes, such as refineries or crafting benches, will never be able to be placed on the platform without using the editor.
I've added a shortened list of compatible buildings to the build menu description, and a full list can be found here https://steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/discussion/1679230269/2251181585653548776/ under image 20.
2 things you may look into: 1. Cannot build Weapon Crafting bench in smaller outposts 2. Cannot build the big outpost in Deadlands. Workers just do not start building.
Thank you.
(I got this mod in a collection PGWO thus didn't download from here, thus cannot report in the BUGS-section, please understand.)
Thanks nikopol86! I spent some time testing Outpost Citadel construction and found this problem can occur in other zones as well. Ctrl+Shift+F11 might fix it, but sometimes you will need to dismantle the building and place another one. I think it's caused by the ramp being a separate part, which is necessary for the gate to work. I've updated the build menu descriptions to explain what to do if it happens.
The new version of Forgotten Buildings makes it possible for the Weapon Smith to be built upstairs in Outpost s-III. Due to the low ceiling height, it still can't be used on floor 0 of either outpost. If you want to build one down there, there's a steam workshop mod that reduces the size of the smithy.
Hi there, fantastic mod. Thank you. One problem. I can't attach any of the Outpost Citadel Ramps. They all say they're too close to another building. There are no other buildings than the Outpost Citadel.

thanks and have a nice day/night!
I can't put hemp processor inside swamp buildings... Is this because their roof is too low?
