Have you completed Into The Radius 42,7 times? Do you feel that the visual- and overhaul mods aren't really enough?
Then look no further!

Welcome a new slightly different and more creepy experience in the Radius!

Weird sales pitch aside, this mod changes:
- Mimic voice lines from the same old classics like "Is Max coming out to play?" and "Hon! Come have breakfast." into something... different. And dare I say: more sinister!
- Added new aggro screams for the Fragments and the Phantoms, and also altered idle, defragmentation and death screams.
- Added altered attack sounds and death scream for the Seekers!
- Added new sounds to the Spawns!

I've always loved most of the voice lines, but some of them was just... weird. And I wanted weird AND scary! The "Where are you?" is a perfect example of that (which is why I've kept 4 out of 7 "where are you"s). So after having spent nearly 300 hours in the Radius and keeping a close eye out for an audio mod to my liking, I decided to wait no longer and make one myself.

So far the Mimics, fragments, phantoms, Seekers and Spawns are done - There's new death screams and almost all Mimic voice lines have been changed. New audio includes laughter, crying, girl singing (of course) and other creepy stuff. New, but still keeping it radiulicious, so nothing crazy.
With the fragment update I've only added new aggro and death screams, while slightly tweaking some of the other noises they make. I haven't touched the attack sounds as I thought they were good enough as they already are.
The Seekers has had another layer added to their attack sounds - I tried to make them sound like the "rays" are coming out of their mouths - and I've added a layer to their death scream, so there's a slight "human quality" in the scream.
(I did want to make them sound very different from the other entities, but they share most of the same sounds as the fragments and phantoms, so I couldn't change them more than this without them sounding disjointed).

- Update: Gave the Mimics some love to make them more creepy. (The "original" Overhauled Mimic pack is in the Optional section, if you prefer the version closer to the OG Mimics).
& I've combined all the current parts into a single downloadable file for ease of installation and update. (All the different parts of the mod is in the Optional section for anyone who wants to customize the mod pack).

I really hope you'll like it and enjoy it as much as I already have while creating and testing it out.

V.1.0 Full Release!

Select Mod Manager Download and Vortex should handle everything for you.

Manual installation:
Extract the contents of the file(s) into the main folder (...Steam\steamapps\common\IntoTheRadius).

Updating:
If you are updating any parts of the overhaul, you have to remove the old mod files first, and then install the new version.
(I have revised the mod files, so if there's an update for the main mod pack; the update should overwrite any old files).

Uninstallation:
Select Remove via Vortex.

Manual uninstall: Just delete the mod files from your mod folder.

Unless you're using any mods that changes the voice lines, it should be perfectly compatible with all other mods.
It's also savegame compatible, so there's no reason to start a new game.

Copyright & Credits:
First of all a HUGE thank you to Stuchoo on ITR Discord for making a modding guide that allowed me to learn how to build this in the first place!

I've used a lot of different resources from different places and this is their due:

Many Monster Sounds by Mazellmi on YouTube.
A lot of spoken effects by Absolutely Terrifying on YouTube.
(Creepy girl singing) "Sound Effects by Lara Sluyter (LARA’S HORROR SOUNDS on YouTube)".
Crying girl sound by SoundEffectsFactory on YouTube.
Ambience, BG noises etc. by GSC Game World (Borrowed from the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series and Oblivion Lost).
And an absolute sh*t-ton! from CM Games (Into the Radius SFX in the game files).

Go give them a like, buy them a cup of coffee or buy their games. Give them some love if you like this mod. ;)
