Solution/Fix for having an infinite loading screen while using other mods:
You can download the mod file directly from the downloads page or install Aloy's Adjustments.exe from GitHub: AloysAdjustments. Follow the instructions on the descriptions page to install the mod.
After installing the mod, rename Patch_AloysAdjustments.bin to Patch_zAloysAdjustments.bin in HorizonZeroDawn/Packed_DX12 to appear last among the other mods.
RIP Reddick for real. Great actor, great guy, good sense of humor, hot AF and a voice like silk. Taken way too young, he had decades left in his career.
For anyone having issues with infinite loading screens here is what I found.
Downloading the file and following the instructions on Descriptions page provides a working Mod. You have to make sure you download Netcore 3.1 and update the Adjustment Program to 1.8.1 under Settings of that program. Don't forget to unzip the tar file into to correct folder before opening the Application.
There is 2 Mods I found that I was using which caused the infinite Load bug. They are: Intro Logos Skip Better Inventory and Ammo Capacity These will need to be removed from the Packed_DX12 Folder.
Both these mods can be achieved in the Aloy's Adjustment Program though so no big loss just using a different program. I used these settings under Upgrades : Settings I used the 10x modifier under Ammo Upgrades
As for the intro skip its a simple checkbox in the Misc tab.
Also if at any point you get the infinite load bug there is no need to reinstall the application. All you need to do is remove the Patch_AloysAdjustments from the Packed_DX12 Folder. You can also hit Delete Pack under the Settings tab in the Aloys Adjustment Program.
I hope this helps people get this working. If it did help please let me know it did take me some time to figure all this out and id love to know if others could get it working as well.
Sadly you cant change the Shield Weaver outfit and install the Shield Weaver socket mod the same time, since they overlap and create an Infinite loading screen. But its fine and you were very helpful.
This mod is broken, but if you follow the link on the description page, and get the most recent update (1.8.1), you can replace any armor appearances you want. It's really easy to use and works. Direct link below.
found that this file for some reason results in the forever loading screen. Patch_AloysSWtoCBM.bin. once i got ride of it it started the game fine but the mod dosent work
Seconding (thirding?) previous comments to confirm that this no longer works; not only does it result in a never-ending load screen, but even uninstalling the mod afterward didn't resolve the issue. Had to uninstall and reinstall the game to make it playable again. Don't use this if your game is currently patched.
What was the process for this? Tried using the newest release of Aloy's adjustments cause I wanted to swap it to the Heavy Blazon instead, didn't seem to work tho, got an endless loading screen
I have the game from Epic Games and can't find game directory? Does that mean i won't be able to use this mode or do i need to put it in documents/horizon directory?

Tried the Aloys Adjustment as well the game still stuck in infinite loading
nvm I've found the conflict to other mod Patch_thunderlasso.bin in case anyone have issue that's the one conflicting with this mod.Edit: Tried other Shield Weave mod - Skimpy Shield Weaver Armor it works fine tho.
