In this release it's normal for you to see some flashing on startup especially if you're also skipping shader compilation (it's so fast it doesn't have time to get the correct texture). I figured this method is safer than disabling the startup entirely, as they are doing some profile login related stuff here. I'll try to make it smoother if necessary.
I'd like to add an option to auto load the save but this part isn't working yet.
Apparate version:
Requires Blueprint Apparate Modloader
extract mod to :
start game
Press F8 and
type sss in the window and hit enter
restart game

It's compatible with one of my other mods Remove Epilepsy Warning and the Shader Compilation Removed
I use both to test mods faster. I can only recommend disabling shader compilation for development purposes, although in my case I haven't noticed a difference yet.
If you're skipping shader compilation you'll need to rename the following directory to get the full effect. I discovered that the game reading this is what causes the 10+ seconds of black/epilepsy screen and 100% cpu on startup.
