Is this going to be added to the in game mod installer cause i have no idea how to install this even when given instruction? This is my #1 mod I want to install.
Hello, wonderful mod. I always end up adding needs mods. They really help immersion. It seems to be working well, according to the UE4SS logs. However I am not getting any UI pop ups in regards to my needs. Makes it a little hard to keep track of things. I am not sure why this is. I do have "Toggle HUD Elements" installed could this be interfering? I also don't see pop ups that say "rest" or "eat " or anything. I'm not sure what is going wrong. Advice appreciated.
Hi there WinterElfeas! Hopefully you're still checking in on this mod from time to time. It's one of the best immersion mods (and only one btw) in the entire nexusmods suite.
Just wanted to give you a heads up: the newer UE4SS mod loader doesn't work. The last time I played Legacy, it was over a year ago. So I had previously installed the older, original BP Apparate mod loader version of the Eat/Sleep/Thirst mod. This older version worked.
However with the new UE4SS mod loader, I can't get any UI statusing notification about my character's health needs once I load a brand new save game. And the status notification doesn't come up after eating/drinking. No meters/messages nothing.
*.pak, *.ucas and *.tuoc files: \SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Hogwarts Legacy\Phoenix\Content\Paks\LogicMods
The BPModloader is on in mods.txt for UE4SS to recognize the mod content. But nothing. Could I load the files in the LogicMods Folder under the ~mods folder and load it using BP Apparate mod loader instead?
Is anyone else having this issue and if so, what was your work around?
How do you know if the mod is working? I've installed all the other little bits and pieces that I need to for the mod, load a game, but I don't see the bars shown in the screen shot
I'm not getting any brief or extended pop ups. Regardless whether the save is brand new (like after sorting hat and you're in the common room). Or after free roam is enabled (after talking with Charms Professor and then Headmaster Weasley on first day of DADA).
Are you using the GitHub/XInput version of UE4SS? Or the RE UE4SS version? These versions are radically different because the RE UE4SS version (available on Nexusmods) has 2 additional folders. And it also modifies the Mods\mod.txt file to add 2 lines (to allow these 2 additional folder files to work).
Can you indicate which UE4SS version you used and paste the directory path in which you installed this mod?
I really enjoy this mod, but I would like to disable it for the time being. I tried deleting all of the files that were included with this, but now when I re-launch my game, it hangs on the loading screen and never loads the game.
Am I doing something wrong?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for the great work you've put in!
EDIT: As a temporary fix, I've put the mod files back into the game folder where they belong, and adjusted the values in the script to not debuff and the game is up and running again.
I've just had this issue trying to remove the mod as I've tried a few methods of trying to get the UI to show and such to work, I've got everything that's required, yet no hud like on the images, yet it would crash without it, now since I've put it back in it now works. Concerning.
Great mod. If you allow me, I would like to suggest to you and the community the development of a mod to talk to any student, even simple sentences. I haven't seen anyone developing this.
Really cool mod! Definitely something I felt was missing and needed for a truly immersive experience. Quick question though, I haven't tried out the mod for myself yet and was wondering if the great hall tables count as a place where you can "eat" and "drink" and if not is there anyway you could add that in? I don't care at all if its anything fancy it could even just be you click a button near the tables and they regenerate, just wanted there to be a more immersive way to eat and drink. Thanks for reading and making this cool mod!
I know, it really bothers me that you can eat all sorts of food in the kitchens, where you shouldn't be, but nothing in the great hall where students are supposed to eat! WHY did the devs not include the ability to have a bite off those tables??
It would be amazing if if was possible to mod this in, it is something I have been waiting for since launch tbh :)

Please note BP Apparate mod is not needed for this mod anymore with latest UE4SS version.
Make sure you follow the instructions carefully.
Edit: sorry for the trouble of re-downloading / installing, I posted a lot of small updates in a short time
If you have no error in UE4SS it would mean it is well loading the UI (otherwise you would get errors for not finding it)

Possible new UE4SS version break thing, I see my link still point to 2.5.1, so hopefully someone see this comment
I also tested this mod towards the end of my playthrough (and modding period), I hope its "stable" enough for new game and stuff
