Hello. Can this be updated to work with the new update from Hogwarts Legacy? I am finding that I cant access the new items that are in the game now. They just dont seem to appear. And I really love the mod. It makes me explore the map to indeed finish the game as late as possible.
I just updated it a few weeks ago. And then they came out with the new update. I didn’t had time, and won’t have time until the end of next week.
but I think without an update of the hogwarts Mod merger it won’t be able to merge with anything. Mod merger needs an update. It will always generate a Mod with the old Database.
If mod merger is updated already you can repair the mod yourself by clicking on the Red !
hello, i'm unable to merge your mod with accio masochism mods, when i merge masochism mods works including optional files but your mod is not working, i tried everything, every builds of the merging tool but i cant get it to work :/ i have latest hg steam version, any help would be greatly appreciated !
really sorry for late response. was a bit inaktive here. you had to repair the mod with mod merge with clicking on the Red ! . Actually Modmerger explaions it to you when loading an outdated mod.
however its updated now, and should work without repair
Can I remove the file without damaging the save file if I dont like how it plays? Thanks for the mod, I for one think the game is too easy even on hard difficulty and you become over levelled pretty quickly. Im guessing I'll like the mod but just want to make sure it wont affect the save file in case I remove the mod later.
I am really sorry for these 3 updates in a short time, the mod worked for me but not for all, and it was hard to figure out why,
i can rename the file bevor I upload it. But I really need different names to work on. Because of cutting out or copying in somewhere I have always some folders left, and It really confuses me if they had the same name and I hate overwriting stuff, need to have the possibility to step back to an old version, if something is wrong.
The latest game patch, not using a merger since this is the only sql mod i'm using. For some reason my character skipped to lvl 21 from 15 and the main quest missions don't have the same lvl lock anymore.
Strange, still not working for me. I also tried to merge it with ALT-XP mod and the merger showed pretty much all the rows where mission level requirements are with red. Maybe this mod needs to be updated to correspond the changes made by latest game patch for mission IDs?
Hi really amazing mod! I have a question , maybe you know how to edit values during new spells quests for professors( random example change 10 dodges to 5 dodges etc.). I want edit something but i can't find that.

Thats more complicated i think. you should find a movment for enemys in EnemyAttackData and actually most of the tables that starts with EnemyAttack, But that is not that what you are looking for.
Especially which NPC are you looking for? But even if you find this setting, it has a big chance to not working. I try to assaign a new Spell to the Enemys, actually since 3 Weeks. And it wont work. I exchanged every Spell which is not unforgivable, and they still do there normal Moveset. So i am not sure what Enemysetting are working.
A lot things you can change in database doesn't work at all. I also try fix stuck enemies bug during crossed wands duels by chaning their loadouts ID but nothing works. Its shame that devs fix shield vfx during duels but left entire fights bugged...
Yeah or any Duration Spell Settings, or atleast every time i tryed to change (Revelio for example, would be really nice to have it on 30seconds)
But actually we are not sure if they fixed it, before the Modmerge dosnt get an upgrade we are always Using the Old Database, or just creating 1 Mod, without using Modmerger. The Modmerger is not able to merge a mod with the new Database in an old DB Mod. or the update is already out, didnt checked it actually.
Overall, I like most of the changes this mod makes. However, the requirement for the last two quests is a potential issue. If the amount of XP is not increased, one will not be able to start the Spring (Weasley's Watchful Eye and The House Cup) quests as they are now. In the vanilla game, you have to 100% the Field Guide and complete The House Cup in order to even hit level 40.

And i was thinking of increasing the amount of XP a bit. Or assaign a new method to get XP But first it has to work with the Vanilla version
I get the feeling that messing with, and re-balancing, the gained XP values would be tricky. Mostly because of how tight the Devs appeared to have packaged the numbers. As for the level requirements, bumping them down a level would be the easiest so that the last three are 38-39-39. Another option would be to make The Final Repository the same level as Wand Mastery (both 37), since the cut scene implies a sense of urgency between the two. If you did that, Watchful Eye could be 38 and House Cup be 39, giving the player some time to wrap up the guide, give Weasley's dialogue more relevance (even if the Guide is 100%, she will say that you have more to do in the Guide), and better flow; otherwise you are told to go to The Grand Hall right out of her classroom, boom, and done.
Thats the review i wanted :) especially with the Cutscene and the story Gap. I was a bit bussy with balancing the other parts. Didn't had time to reache the endgame yet. So not with the 2. Playtrough i mean

I was able to do the first quest of upgrading the broom with no issues. In summary, the mod with the requirements for the broom missions does not work, all the other parts of the mod do.
Thank you a lot for that response. This part is new, and I wasn’t really able to check if it’s working. All my characters have the broom on Lvl 3. But can you tell me how the quest description looked like? Any Level mentioned?
The mission is called Flight Test. This mission is not the one for improvement 1 but it comes out with a level 17 requirement. Obviously it is not the one for improvement but even so with that requirement it lets me do it. The mission generated itself since I started a new game with the mod from the beginning.
actually it is the mission for Upgrade 1. because without this mission he wont give you the 2. Quest. But you are right its not directly the quest that gives you the upgrade, but its needed.
Howevery, i took it out completly. after 2 Days struggling with testing it. I am not sure if the Race mission is the only permission to Unlock the Broom. i am Level 24 and struggleing with getting the 2. Upgrade, even without the mod. so maybe its not nessecarry
yeah i already have this :) in Miscellaneous files. It is Mainmission Balance and Broom requierment (which is bugged at the moment). So its actually only Mainmission Balance.

merge this file into your SQL mods to make them work with the new update. (Latest Mod Merger Version needed)

you need the NPC level scale, and maybe a Hard Mode mod as additional to avoid over leveling
