If you're having issues with the mod not working, check if an X appears next to 'yearlevel' after you press enter. If it doesn't, then the mod's not being found for some reason, so triple check install location. Otherwise I can't really help.
If the X does appear and your numpad is still doing nothing, check your numlock key :D
I have a weird issue, after selecting a height my character changes between the set height and the default very rapidly and Im not sure what could be causing this, maybe the new update broke something? Its like the game is trying to restore the default height constantly.
I downloaded the V3 and the height switching is still happening but is a little slower now. Edit: I found that going into the menu then exiting fixed the glitch, not sure if that helps narrow it down.
Do you have multiple of the mod in your mod list? Like the top left menu when you press F8 I mean? Either way, try going to C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Hogwarts Legacy\Saved\SaveGames Delete the ModLoaderSaves.sav file there, don't touch the folder in there, that's your actual game saves. But deleting the modloadersaves will refresh your mod list. Because the only thing I can think is that perhaps your game is running my mod multiple times hence the switching. In the coding I did increase the delay of how often it detects and sets the player scale, so that makes sense it was slower at least. Glad going to the menu at least fixes it for now if nothing else works!
as "HappyCG" said follow his instructions because they are working i had the same problem like u and this fixed it 100% just that before removing ModLoaderSaves.sav ,take a screenshot of your F8 load list because it will be removed and you will have to add them again. also after changing your character height if u have any robe fitting issues go in your gear page unequip and equip it back and it should be fixed for good . oh and if u have a mod named "PlayerHeight" ,remove it bcs thats the cause tho character shape turn to normal after loading screen but i mean with the numpad binds is easy to switch back to your fav body size
This is something that should have been in Hogwarts Legacy by default, thank you for correcting Avalanche's mistake. I'll happily endorse as soon as Nexus let's me.
That being said, and i definitely apologize in advance for looking a gift horse in the mouth, i'm not looking forward to having to change my character's height again every time i exit a loading screen.
Nobody can look into the future but do you think it will be possible to make the height change permanent at some point? Or to have it automated? I'm mostly familiar with modding Bethesda games so i do not know if this is even possible.
Honestly, I wish more character creators just... came with heights. I like having characters with different heights, it's more realistic and helps me define their individual personalities more. This mod can help me get close to how I imagine them all. Still hoping they add a height slider one day (and maybe even make NPCs have more diverse heights, at least of the named characters)!
A 5th grade new student killing dozens of dark wizard and more powerful enemies. DIDNT MAKE A MISTAKE. He is shorter or taller or fatter or thinner. GUILTY.
alvariearmy I would like that too, but I get why they don't. It adds a lot more work to be sure all the animations work with all the possible combinations of height and weight slides. And when you have a overly aggressive pay master like EA or in this case WB Games over your head, It might not be an option to have it
seconded the request, any way to make it permanent? i can help with programming if you want but a simple PostLoad hook should do it, preferably with clothes auto-resetting as well
This mod can't do that (and its been a year since any updates) so I created a new version called Player Height which allows you to change the key bindings.
Works perfectly! Is there a reason why the height keeps reverted back to original size for certain situations? Why it can't stay permanent to what you set it to?
Just figured out why it wasn't working for me. I figured I'd post it here. I'm using the left handed version. You need to enter yearlevel_lh to activate that version. This is probably explained somewhere but I didn't see it.
The mod works for me but there is a strange issue with hand textures when this mod is active. Its as if all the different skin colours are on the hand at once and I can see them underneath the chosen skin colour as if I am wearing patchy gloves. The problem goes away if I uninstall the mod.
Hi I'm assuming that this mod has three files as when I click on preview files it shows the pak, ucas and utoc files however when I download there is only one file, I'm using the modloader and inputting yearlevel and it does not work so I'm assuming that it has to do with only one file downloading as this is happening with other mods I'm trying to download yet the only mod that works is one that has three files. Is only one file supposed to download or am I doing something wrong?
Just found a bug. If you use this mod in intro while at bank. after talking to goblin and moving to vault. you will be teleported by the rocks across the ravine. if try to get back u will fall of the map. than be forced to alt-F4 to escape. if u use mod after u get off rail u teleport to edge of platform and nearly fall off. I'll be sure to let you know when i actually give a **** about it.
You are aware that humans can have different height and that different people grow taller earlier or later than others, right?

Honestly? I do not think this mod is going to get any updates anytime soon, i haven't heard from the author in months.
Hopefully somebody else adopts this mod to finish it.
any ideea?
