Hello, folks, a bit of info i discovered. Today i tried to launch the game using DXVK (previously it crashed my game, finally fixed it), turns out my preset does not work with Vulkan, probably because HD2 with Vulkan uses different shaderhashes to display same things.
So use my .ini file for HD2 paired with DX11/DX12.
I may will port everything to Vulcan one day, but my game lags a lot when Vulkan is running, also ReShade overlay doesn't work the way it should, so i'm not interested in doing that. (strangely, this issue is present in HD2 only, Fallout New Vegas w/ Vulkan runs as smooth as it possible)
Any clue what could go wrong? Have you tried to download addon64 file from github? Nobody responded to me with evidence, so i have no clue how this error even looks, i could use more details to solve this, if possible
哥们你好歹用英文吧,版主看不懂中文啊。 oddball8zhongshi said Hello, I'm still experiencing the same issue with default settings. My current configuration is DX11 with a ReShade plugin. I suspect there might be something missing in my setup. I can provide additional troubleshooting clues, but first I need to know what specific information or actions you require from me, and how to proceed.
Huh, seems like i missed this one. Thanks for a translation then, i probably thought this wasn't addressed to me when i saw this. I have no idea why this issue is even a thing, and i'm there is probably no way you could reach support from an actual developer of this addon, last update was in 2022. Only thing i can provide is some schizophrenic ideas how you can try to fix it yourself. Firstly, try other ShaderToggler presets, see if this issue is present with other .ini files from nexus. Secondly (If theory from from first step happens to be actually true), try making your own .ini file, maybe you can fix this by making your own and importing stuff from mine? Idk. Thirdly, Try slowly importing Togglers from my .ini file, see if that works and when it stops working. Also, maybe that can be solved by merging every single Toggler into one, but i'm not sure.
I guess its now time to wait for our beloved community to stop doing degeneracy content and start making mods with low poly textures for budget pcs (That will never happen btw, so enjoy your daily portion of weaboo/gooner slop on HD2 nexus). Seems like AH does not give a crap about performance in 0 frames divers 2
7 FPS? No way you're getting slideshow frames all the time. That's gotta be only when the horde spawns, right? You could try using performance optimization tools like Mem Reduct (which automatically cleans your RAM) or Process Lasso (for setting the game's process priority). Additionally, the most effective method used to be modifying the user_settings.config file for Helldivers 2. However, it seems there are no working FPS-improving configs available for recent versions of the game in Nexus.
I want to make comments after some of the shadehashes in the .ini, does reshade's addon have the gramma iike "//" in c++ ?Or if it's possible,i want to know the effect of each shadehash in Hybred's Performance. His reshade makes my floor so dark,i want to delete that one.And the "hide personal destroyer", it hide many things.Maybe i can accept some part of it.
By the way,i give up to testing diff groups of toggler as my fps is lower after update.I move to user_settings.config and make some crazy changes.
If u r interested in my .config changes: (the content below is deleted as i think it is not useful.)
Hey there. I believe i should clarify some things here: 1) I don't think there is a way to know what each shaderhash does by looking on hash itself. ShaderToggler doesn't tell you hashes of shaders you hide when doing that in-game (the only way you can do that without knowing exact hashes, obviously). Also, i'm an amateur and can't really tell you about the way addon processes visuals into hashes, sorry about that. 2)"NO PERSONAL DESTROYER" is meant be used for taking space screenshots only, that's why it hides so much. If you're desperate for less details on SES, just make new toggler and remove some (be careful and test stuff on mission, some destroyer visuals remove building on missions, at least that's what i've been told) P.s - there is an instruction in ShaderToggler's page in-game and on github page, if you still don't know how to do that.
Btw, thanks for providing info about cfg tweaks, i may will check some of them out.
ShaderHash0=1390720636 this reshadehash in "Performance (Made by TheHybred)" is the reason of darkness. However,it also reduce the fog and make things far from me clear.I guess it affects gamma? Will it possible to be separate this part ? I can do this but each time i update ur mode i need to change this
Yeah, removing specific shaderhash in .ini file is easy. remove needed shaderhash, rename every single one so the number order would match, do the same with Ammouthashes. Also, i'm pretty sure you're forgetting to save your preset in-game, and that's why you need to "update" it each time
You misunderstand me.The update i saying is your mod's update.I change the shadehash but u dont do so.So i hope that shadehash can be separated out in ur mod.Or,just move this shaderhash to the last one so i can remove it easily.Thank you.
Currently, there are no updates planned from my side, unless game patch breaks my config. I have zero idea what could be so hard in editing .ini file, but here's an edited version of merged Hybreds tweaks, simply copy n' paste this into your .ini file every time you update. On 1.2.5 release i'll edit txt file so this will be included for people to copy and paste.
Thank you.Ediiting .ini file isnt hard, but it's incoveient to change it every time.Txt file is a great idea that i havent realized before. BTW,The "AmountHashes=39"should be 38. Maybe it stil works although the number isnt match?
Ooof, forgot to edit that, sorry lol. Haven't tested if it still does work even with amounthashes mismatch, maybe will try it out later. I'm pretty sure it will work this way: last shaderhash will just not work, because addon doesn't recognize it due to amounthashes being not correct, at least that's how it worked with amount of togglers.
Dude, this is an .ini file, with addon file included with zip file, literally none of the ReShade files require these. So no, it doesn't "work" with mod managers, but since it's basically just a config, it shouldn't break anything, unless you're a dumb porn addict who uses cringe nsfw models. (won't bother fixing if anything breaks with those)
I don't really think im smart, but thanks i guess? Also, my message was not meant to be rude, i was just shocked by the fact somebody even had such question. Like... isn't this obvious that ReShade stuff was meant to be used with ReShade and not any mod manager?
Oh no wait, isn't this a game glitch? I remember that a friend of mine reported the same (he's not using my performance config) Can't fix what's not broken by my config, sorry. If i'm wrong and my config is actually responsible for this changes pls reply, i'll doublecheck
i find a confusing condition.I find my fps is more stable when turning off the mod (from 10 to 30) than turning it on(from 8 to 60).
One reshade option makes the ground near to me very dark in night.I think it must be reshade about sun shadow effect.
Detail: My game is 640 x 480,render revolution is lowest, almost a pixel game. But it is still just 17 fps. So i turn on almost all the reshade changing options. The only 2 options i turn off is the HUB toggle and hide the private destroyer. When i come into the game, fps is almost 10 at first, then grow to 60 after a while. But when i go to new place,or there are many enemies around me,then it will be 8 fps again and it wont get better unless the enemies are all killed. Once I turned off all the options, guessing if the option also affecting the load of my cpu(by the way,my cpu is 12 i5 but my GPU is intergrated video card). The performance is much better.Although the highest fps get down to 30,but i can have at least 10(quickly get to 15)fps when fighting.
The mod i use is March 20 version,i just find out u have updated.Maybe it will be better in new version?i havent tried it.Maybe some reshade option have some debuff?Hope you can tell me if you konw.
Although i patched one shader that was making FPS counter lower, there might can be some other ones i couldn't spot (because i get stable 90-100 fps at dif 1 and 40-50 at dif 10, also my own mod doesn't help me in terms of fps at all).
You can try some stuff here: 1)Merge (manually, using .ini) every single Toggler into one (excluding "no hud" and "NO PERSONAL DESTROYER" that ment to be used for screenshots only, obviously) And see if that makes any changes in terms of FPS. If yes, then maybe ShaderToggler makes FPS lower when there is more Togglers existing? (Probably not an actual reason, but better to know that, just to be sure). Report if that's the case 2) try to disable specific togglers and see if there is any positive changes. If yes, let me know.
In high enemy count situation, Your FPS suffers due to a fact i couldn't really remove anything related to their polygons/textures, except blood decals. the only hope is to commission a mod to make low poly enemies, maybe?
Try adjusting your render scale between balanced and ultra performance (dont use quality or above) I see better performance when I lower my resolution but up the render scale in addition because my cpu tends to bottleneck when I'm on ultra performance. Helldivers 2 has a gimmicky way of allocating render loads to your CPU and GPU especially on low end rigs, try multiple options with multiple resolutions, but do keep every other setting on low, Alpn4's shaders tend to help out around 15-20 frames when they are active but the recent patch (01.002.200) has tanked basically everyones performance once there are a good bit of enemies on the map (Thanks a lot Arrowhead)
i have tried to changing all the toggler together, and it do make a difference, fps is a little higer. However,it is not enough to solve the problem of low fps during the battle.I ll try different group of togglter later,it must take much time.
Apologies for the inconvenience but I would like to know exactly where i can find all the toggle binds, I understand F3 is the datapad hider, F4 is the cape hider, but which key toggles all the shader effects on and off?

i have tried performanc render and it reduce my fps by about 8,thx to your suggestion.
You can see all the binds in ShaderToggler page in addons tab.
