The covenants tried to eliminate every last living marines where they escaped from the Pillar of Autumn (Insane Challenge a10). However, they realized that they didn't have enough allies, squads & units to fight with them in order to eliminate all marines & cyborg (masterchief). This time, they have gathered enough units/squads just to accomplish their mission objectives and prevent this from happening again. This is where you come in as a soldier, make the captain proud, eliminate any enemies you see in front of you and make sure they don't slay all of your allies.

This is where you will stand strong, this is where the main challenge begins in the map of "Halo" (a30). Captain Keyes, Miranda Keyes & Sargent Johnson will be counting on you Chief.

It's all about Revenge

ADVICE:

• * Take a lot of covers, watch all directions and watch out for commanders & leaders. I fully recommend using the "Saw" weapon as it slays enemies faster & brutally.
• * You may notice an "Arbiter" with Plasma Rifle/Energy Sword, take cover, cause that dude is scary & heavy shielded.
• * You may notice a "Chieftain Elite" (the leader of all elites, kinder silver/gold), can appear in the last wave, be sure not to get in close combat with those guys.
• * Use the Saw to eliminate heavy shielded enemies such as: "The Arbiter, Chieftain Elites, Hunters & Banshees".
  
  

RECOMMENDATION:
This map was made for Halo: CE Single Player Map only.

IMPORTANT:
When you reach the last survivors, make sure every enemies are defeated. This may (or may not) occur, however, Cortana will remind you because of that. Perhaps, waiting for
a couple of minutes when the evac arrives. Search the last area to make sure no enemies are standing, once you're done, then you win.

MORE INFO:
There are some things you need to know about before playing this:

• * You must be experienced in SP
• * You must concentrate & eliminate your targets by any means necessary
• * Pick up the SAW for a chance to slay your opponents brutally
• * Marines lives matters, be sure they don't get killed all the time (Cortana will be disappointed, make the woman proud)
• * If you are inexperienced/or new with Halo SP missions, this is not recommended to you
• * There are tons of marines waiting to defeat the enemies alongside with the Chief
• * You will have marines using shotguns, assault rifles, snipers & ODST based AIs.
  
  

Note: To give it a training test, use the devmode (console) ^cheat_deathless_player 1^ to see what's changed and what's making this more difficult than the original.

EXTRA INFO:
I did make plenty of changes to the following difficulties:

• * Easy
• * Normal
• * Heroic
  
  

However, for the full experience, I strongly recommend:

• * Legendary (Which has most of every modification I've worked on)
  
  

HOW TO INSTALL & PLAY:
The easiest way to:

• 1. Place the map "a30.map" into your Halo Custom Edition maps directory
• * EG 1: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition\maps (64-bit)
• * EG 2: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition\maps (32-bit)
• !  <<Alway's make a backup before pasting the modified SP map just in case of errors>>
• !  <<I've tested it out, no errors, just clean & ready to play>>
• 2. Load up Haloce.exe
• 3. Go to Campaign > Halo > Legendary > Start/OK
  
  

If you don't see Campaign on your main menu screen, that's probably because you don't have a custom/modified UI for Halo: CE.
