    when i click the jump button i barely get off the ground but if i hold it i go too high and it makes me lose balance mid air and i cant normally jump

      By default it's INSERT. There's also an X on the top right of the window you can click.

      you can try increasing adjust body tonus as a way to go fast when you run without falling [though it's a bit inconsistent].
