only works in free mode.... no abyss mode or gauntlet mode (WHAT ME AND 99% OF THE PLAYERS WANTED IT FOR).... what's the point when you can already cycle through load-outs in FREE MODE???? lol ... uninstall : easy decision
Somehow all loadouts i load don't load with weapons (pre-created or custom created by myself). All clothing/armor is there, just no weapons.. Does anyone know how to fix this?
Took me some time to realize how to use it, here's a guide for dumb raggamuffins like me: 1) Run the mod's .exe file. 2) Click "SET KEYBIND" and assign a key to load a loadout. 3) Select a loadout to load. 3.1) There's a triangle to the left of a section name (e.g. OVRDTH'S LOADOUTS), click it to expand a section and select a loadout. 4) Run the game. 5) In Free mode, select the tier of the fighter matching the tier of the loadout you selected in step 3. 6) Press the key you assigned in step 2. 7) You will hear a Windows bell sound. 8) You will not see the loadout in the main menu, but that's OK, just start the fight. 9) Loadout loads when the fight starts.
You're not alone. It's pretty comical how this modder includes every bit of info in the readme except how to actually use it. At one point he replies "read the instructions" to a confused commenter, but like, mate, there's no instructions. None. Nada. The readme and Nexus description literally says 'I'm sure you can figure it out'. The closest thing is a tutorial video on Youtube someone else made.
Anyway, it seems like the dev of Half Sword Enhancer is planning to develop his own loadout system, so we can finally be free of the clunk of this one.
step 2, 5, and 6 are all unnecessary and can be skipped. you can just double click one of the loadouts (after alt tabbin out of the game) and itll work just the same. tier doesnt have to match either.
i mean, fuck. you made the mod yeah? its yours. we know its yours. but you act like youre a (AAA) game dev and this is your own I.P. and have some sort of nintendo power trip if anyone makes any adjustments and makes their own tweaks and updates to it. i mean sure. they could include malicious code alongside their patches. but then youd state to not trust other sources distributing your mod.

Your response to getting called cringe is to immediately tell the person to kill themselves. I think you have some growing up to do and it ought not to be here where everyone else has to deal with your growing pains.
It's a small pet peeve to be sure. People have always loved overly showing off ownership or authorship of something since the dawn of time. No different from an artist aggressively watermarking their art or some game dev putting their name on the title (i.e Sid Meier's Civ). I could be scrolling the Arma 3 workshop only to see ~(AUTHOR'S NAME)'s (tiny minimalist QoL mod that's 3 lines of code at most)~.
But at the end of the day, it's pretty harmless and really nothing to complain about unless it directly hinders the product somehow.
Hello, does anyone know how i could go about finding the loadouts i've made so i can send them to a friend and have him use them also? I'm not sure if it'd be even possible but if it is and anyone knows i'd appreciate the help :)
The mod works well, although I wish it were more intuitive. Took me like 20 minutes after DL to begin learning how to make save loadouts and load them. I'm not asking for much, but while the app is open during gameplay when you hold ALT and press S I guess that's a hotkey to save a loadout but it makes noise during matches and it's really annoying

Ive encountered an issue, however. Everything is working great, but my old loadouts (from the Playtest) spawn without weapons. I figured this was simply due to the update, so no issue, but when I got a Poleaxe back into the loadout's hands, and tried to save, it continued to load without a weapon. It seems you can only save whatever your loadout initially was, unlike in the Playtest when you could pick up a different weapon and save the loadout with the new weapon.

the pooled_saves folder is hidden by default, so you have to enable "view hidden items" in windows explorer
