UPDATE 1.1
What's new :
- All weapons for the non VR version now also have the Comic Book texture style.
- Fixed a few incorrect effects (displaying in purple in the previous version, so Combine shields and Thumpers now appears correctly)
- Added a autoexec.cfg file to deactivate bumpmaps in all levels (that allows to get rid of the grainy tiny details on the textures wich are irrelevant for a comic style. The overall look is now cleaner.)
- Simpler installation by making an all in one package. You'll still need to download Reshade on their official website though :
https://reshade.me/

Keep reading to see the new installation guide.

Here's the Comic Book mod for Half Life 2 VR.
Also compatible with flatscreen HL2 version (place the custom folder in hl2 instead of hlvr folder).

Please don't reupload these anywhere.

You'll find the installation information in the zip under "HowToInstall.txt" file but I added them also here below in case of. It's just simple copy pastes and a Reshade install.
The mod is uploaded on google drive. You'll find the link in the downloadable txt.

Installation Guide :

--------- HL2 VR install -------------
Place the "custom" and "cfg" folder in SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Half-Life 2 VR\hlvr\
Launch the latest version of Reshade installer and configure it this way :
- install it on SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Half-Life 2 VR\hl2vr.exe
- Choose the Vulkan API
- When Reshade installer asks for a preset clic "skip" then choose the following effects :
    Color effects by prod80
    reshade-shaders by Daodan
Feel free to install every effects, they are fun to play with
Finish the Reshade installation
Place everything that's in the "Reshade Preset" folder in SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Half-Life 2 VR\
Launch the game
Wait for the shader to compile (if it freeze, quit the game and relaunch it, Reshade seems a bit unstable and it fail to launch the game sometimes, but simply relaunching it always worked so far for me).
See the Reshade Tips below for the cel shading settings.

--------- HL2 No VR install -------------
Place the "custom" folder in SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Half-Life 2\hl2\
Place the "cfg" folder that's in "HL2 No VR cfg" in SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Half-Life 2\hl2\

See the Reshade Tips below for the cel shading settings.

--------- Reshade tips -------------
The Reshade menu is in the steam VR menu : ingame, simply open the steam VR menu and you'll see the Reshade icon below the main pannel. Clic on it. Follow the tutorial prompt if it's your first time or just skip it and load the ComicBook.ini. If you want to tweak the cel shading effect you can simply activate more comic.fx (comic4.fx, comic5.fx and comic6.fx). Each time you activate one more, it'll increase the lines thickness.
By default, the comic is set to x3 (comic.fx is activated 3 times), adjust it to your taste.

Here's a way to increase the cel shading even more.
 Tutorial here : https://youtu.be/VwOOWsM-PhU
Or a (real quick) written how to :
Duplicate (one or several times) the ComicTest.fx file in the folder : "Half-Life 2 VR\reshade-shaders\Shaders"
Name the duplicates whatever you want (like comic1.fx, comic2.fx).
Activate the duplicate(s) in the Reshade pannel on the steamVR menu.
This will increase the effect x times the number of duplicates activated. I suggest adding only one with the ComicBookStrong Reshade preset.
