1. Overview

This mod attempts to go through the game's Boons, Meta Upgrades, Keepsakes, Items, etc. in order to change them for a more enjoyable Hades experience. All changes were done in order to give the game more longevity and standarize boosts to the player character. They are not final, and I am very much open to suggestions on future changes, nerfs or buffs. The most important part is that this is meant to change the game but not make it so you can just breeze through without any trouble; it's meant to simply enhance or change your experience a bit for you to have some extra fun.
For maximum enjoyment, I recommend you play this mod on a 100% fresh file, so you're able to experience the slower but better paced progression the mod offers.

2. Warnings

Please, for your own sake, backup both your save and all files that this mod alters. I won't be responsible if a bug or any irrecuperable damage to your save/game. I recommend you backup your entire Scripts and Game folders, but if you wish to backup the individual files, I'll refer to their locations below.

3. Content

Below will be listed every single change done by this mod, in no particular order:

Stores:

Not many changes done to Charon's stores, but there are some. Here are they:
Store Rooms will now no longer offer Darkness for Sale.
Ignited Ichor from the Well of Charon will now boost Special Damage by 30% instead of Move Speed by 20%. It'll cost 40 coins, like Cyclops Jerky.
The last Store in Styx will now always offer a Daedalus Hammer that costs 500 coins, in place of the Meta Progression items, which were honestly overpriced to no end and no one ever really bothered to buy them.

Wretched Broker:

Costs were changed to be a little more equivalent, and the trades were made so you can exchange "Room Rewards" between eachother. Regular offers "suck" on purpose, as they're meant for when you have too much of something or you're just in a pinch for one of the meta currencies. You'll get 6 offers from the start, 4 Regular and 2 Special. The Special offers will be limited at first but unlock as you beat the Underworld bosses. The price for Titan Blood, Diamond and Ambrosia is steeper on purpose, but the offers themselves offer you big value for multiple trades.

Keepsakes:

All keepsakes now cap at level 5, and require 25, 50, 75 and 100 chambers to level up, meaning a total of 250 chambers to level up from the time you've obtained one, to the maximum level. Some keepsakes got stronger than their current level 3 once they achieve level 5, some were kept the same, but with slower progression (but none got weaker). To save space, "God's Favor" was added instead of "You next boon will be from God".

Old Spiked Collar: Your Life Total is +20/40/60/80/100.
Myrmidon Bracer: You take -20/25/30/35/40% damage from the front, but +10% damage from the back.
Black Shawl: Whenever you gain Darkness, restore health for 25/50/75/100/125% of the amount.
Bone Hourglass: Items from the Well of Charon have durations increased by +4/6/8/10/12 Encounters.
Pierced Butterfly: Gain +0.5/1.0/1.5/2.0/2.5% damage each time you clear an Encounter without taking damage.
Chthonic Coin Purse: Start your next escape attempt with 50/100/150/200/250 coins to spend as you please.
Skull Earring: Deal +30/35/40/45/50% damage while at 30% health or below.
Harpy Feather Duster: Broken urns have a 1/2/3/4/5% chance to contain Health items.
Lucky Tooth: When you take lethal damage, miraculously survive with 50/75/100/125/150 health (once per escape attempt).
Shattered Shackle: Traps and rubble falling from pillars deal +150/300/450/600/750% damage to foes.
Distant Memory: Deal +15/20/25/30/35% damage to distant foes.
Evergreen Acorn: When confronting Underworld Bosses, take no damage the first 1/2/3/4/5 time(s) they hit you.
Broken Spearpoint: After taking damage, become impervious to damage for 1.00/1.25/1.50/1.75/2.00 seconds. Refreshes after 7 Sec.
Owl Pendant: Athena's Favor. Her Boons have +5/10/15/20/25% Rare, +3/6/9/12/15% Epic and +1/2/3/4/5% Heroic/Legendary chance.
Thunder Signet: Zeus' Favor. His Boons have +5/10/15/20/25% Rare, +3/6/9/12/15% Epic and +1/2/3/4/5% Heroic/Legendary chance.
Conch Shell: Poseidon's Favor. His Boons have +5/10/15/20/25% Rare, +3/6/9/12/15% Epic and +1/2/3/4/5% Heroic/Legendary chance.
Eternal Rose: Aphrodite's Favor. Her Boons have +5/10/15/20/25% Rare, +3/6/9/12/15% Epic and +1/2/3/4/5% Heroic/Legendary chance.
Adamant Arrowhead: Artemis' Favor. Her Boons have +5/10/15/20/25% Rare, +3/6/9/12/15% Epic and +1/2/3/4/5% Heroic/Legendary chance.
Blood Vial: Ares's Favor. His Boons have +5/10/15/20/25% Rare, +3/6/9/12/15% Epic and +1/2/3/4/5% Heroic/Legendary chance.
Overflowing Cup: Dionysus' Favor. His Boons have +5/10/15/20/25% Rare, +3/6/9/12/15% Epic and +1/2/3/4/5% Heroic/Legendary chance.
Frostbitten Horn: Demeter's Favor. Her Boons have +5/10/15/20/25% Rare, +3/6/9/12/15% Epic and +1/2/3/4/5% Heroic/Legendary chance.
Lambent Plume: Gain +1.000/1.075/1.150/1.225/1.300% Dodge chance and move speed each time you quickly clear an Encounter.
Cosmic Egg: Chaos' Favor. Their Boons have +10/20/30/40/50% Rare, +6/12/18/24/30% Epic and +2/4/6/8/10% Heroic/Legendary chance.

Weapons:

Some weapons were rebalanced to be more on par with one another. Some changes were made to specific aspects, some other changes affect the weapon in general. In general, weapons were made stronger by a bit.

Overall Changes:
All Weapon Aspects now cost a total of 15 Titan Blood to level up from 1 to 5.
Text was slightly tweaked to be clear and less redundant.

Shield Throw Return Speed decreased from 500 to 400 (this means you can return it, then run around the room and have it deal damage more easily).
Shield Throw Acceleration increased from -75 to -50 (this means it'll go farther away from the throw point).

Power Shot window increased to 0.25 Sec from 0.15 Sec (this applies to the Dash-Strike version as well).
Power Shot Range increased to infinite.
Power Shot Damage increased from +20% damage to +100% damage.

Volley Fire Angle Offset decreased from 12 to 8 (this means that the arrows are closer to each other and go in a tighter spread).

Empowered Shot Range increased from 1050 to 3150.
Reload Time Decreased from 0.75 to 0.6 seconds (20% increase on Reload Speed. Doesn't scale with Aspect level; looking into changing that).



Boons:

Much like the Weapons, some Boons drastically outperform other Boons. Changes were made in order for Boons to not only follow a more linear progress when climbing through rarities, but to make not-so-good boons at least good.

Overall Changes:
Made all Boons from all Gods follow a linear increase through rarity levels. This means that the increases from Common to Rare to Epic to Heroic in damage should always be the same. (Example: +30% to +45% to +60% to +75%).
Made all Boons from all Gods have no varience on same rarity Boons (this means Boons don't have a "min./max." multiplier attached to them). I won't mention damage differentials caused by this, as they were simply the maximum damage you could get from a particular Boon previously.
Boons can now very rarely spawn with Heroic Rarity! The chance is very low, but you might luck out, who knows (it's the same chance as a Legendary Boon, basically). Currently, there aren't many ways to boost this. The Keepsakes add a 5% chance though.
Text corrections to make things more consistent.

Zeus:

Bounce Damage multiplier increased from 0.8 to 0.9 (each bounce now reduces the damage by 90%).

That's not even the worst part. They used the most inconventional and out there way to multiply the rarities for the base value in order to arrive at the previous values, when there was a MUCH simpler way to achieve the exact same thing. Truly weird!

Daedalus Hammers:

Daedalus upgrades were changed not only in balance, but some of them now work completely different. Every weapon has at least 1 revamped Upgrade that works completely different from what it used to be. Here are the changes:

Overall Changes:
All Upgrades are compatible with eachother. This means that you can mix and match all you want for more diverse builds.
All Upgrades are compatible with all Aspects, save for Guan Yu. Because Guan Yu is so different, it was pretty much impossible to make it work with all of them. But only 2 aren't compatible, which is already better than before.
There are many Brand New Upgrades, made from unused/scrapped ones.

Stygian Blade:

Now has a completely new effect: "Your Chop deals +100% damage and fires a piercing wave that pierces foes, dealing 30 damage."
(The old effect was not terrible, but it just felt slow and unsynergistic with the way the sword generally plays. Now you get to keep your normal sword combo, while also hitting enemies in an area.)


Double Nova:

You can now go up to 100 Heat! Changes were made thinking on the new balance of the game with what was buffed and whatnot. As in the regular game, you're supposed to slowly increase the Heat as you progress and get more Meta Currency to enventually be able to take down higher levels of Heat. That said, a 100 Heat run is most likely nigh impossible, no matter how hard you try. Here are the changes:

Made the quest for Skelly's Trophies require more Heat (10, 25, 50), since you can achieve much higher heat levels.
Made Bouldy's Blessings slightly better (they now have a min. of 5% and a max. of 15%).
All Weapons are unlocked with 3 keys.

4. Future Plans

Done:
Initial Release.

Working On:
Increasing each biome's length by a bit (5-ish rooms) and tie it into Heat, as well as make the game slightly harder when doing so.

To-Do List:
Making new God Boons with any unused Icons I can find (didn't look into it yet);
Make a new Extreme Measures level for the Hades boss fight;
Work on Poms of Power and their scaling a bit.

5. Installation

Installation:
Backup your save and all the files this mod edits, as specified in "2. Warnings";
Download the latest version of the Mod in the Download Tab;
Go to C:\...\Steam\steamapps\common\Hades\;
Make sure you're not in the middle of a run (things might not work properly);
Extract the attached file and overwrite all files when it asks for it;
Launch the game, have fun with the mod!

Uninstallation:
Make sure you're not in the middle of a run (again);
Copy and paste all the files in your backup folder back into their original places;
Launch the game, have fun (without the mod)!

Updating:
Same proccess as installing the mod.

6. Compatibility

This mod is currently incompatible with any other mod that alters the same files as it.
As there aren't that many mods out currently, it's not really a major issue, but will be dealt with in the coming days.
Compatibility will be later available through Prometheus, once it's needed (or I get to it).
