Great Mod, but I have an issue with apollo that makes the kick happen on all the aspects, not just Apollo. I'd like to know whether there's a fix or not
This bug happens because the game doesn't properly reset your attacks when switching aspects. I don't know how to fix it, but there is a workaround: select the aspect you want, then switch to another weapon and switch back to bow. Should work.
cool mod especially aspect of athena design. but the shield is kinda useless because the most efficient to play with sword is dash strike. and the bullrush shield in this aspect is the normal one which is slow and have no damage while more dangerous to use instead of dash striking so it kinda useless. it will be more useful if the shield bull rush is deployed faster and can guard full circle 360' instead of just the front of the shield. also the athena upgrade bonus is even worse compare to the canon weapons. instead of special attack aoe and damage, make the weapon have +50% damage buff after using bullrush so that the shield actually matters. the hammer upgrade selection is kinda discouraging from using shield, no upgrade actually good for shield except charged shot but then if you use charge shot upgrade the sword would be kinda useless, at that point should use beowulf instead. add minotaur rush and breaching rush to hammer make shield better. also shield block and bullrush is kinda useless without sudden rush upgrade so add that too or better just add sudden rush as innate effect to the shield.
overall its cool concept but poor in application. there is no point to use athena, for sword gameplay better play nemesis, for cast gameplay better play poseidon, for shield gameplay better play naegling. the athena shield is awkward to use and the damage is too small to make it useful.
In general: every weapon in the base game has a theme. All the aspects based on cathonic gods give you a conditional bonus, chaos empoyers your special if you charge and Nemeis empowers your attacks if you special. While all the Olympian aspects have an added functionality to the weapon, Zeus has a new special, Hera has the casts, Hestia has the empowered shot and poseidon has the dislodge. That's why the base game feels very cohesive, but when your aspects don't have a theme, some feel more loved than others.
Aspect of Helio: it's great that you can run percent attack boons on rail, but pls remove the auto reload on special. I LOVE playing rail and i have the muscle memory to press reload and then cancel the animation with special, I just feels like you are holding my hand and keeping the aspect from feeling just right.
Aspect of Hermes: this thing should just replace aspect of Zag, since it doesn't have any strong guimmick it really feels like an aspect of zagreus, but i don't really know how to feel about it, it's good and i'm a spear special entusiast that already just played Yu for the special.
Aspect of Cerberus: perfect. it's a really funny guimmick for a good boy and i will take any reason to play "Zag shield+", because i like Zag shield. I just feel like doing multiple perfect catches in a row could give you a temporary dmg bonus, but that's unecessary.
Aspect of Athena: I like it, you are still just dashstriking everywhere and doing shield charge shenanigans, but if i could add anthing is to remove the trust from the normal attack chain. Or i mean, f*#@ it just make the trust be the first attack in the chain and then the other moves
Aspect of Apollo: what's your problem with Rama
Aspect of cronos: funny time speed goes weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. Also I love that you gave us free flipkick, just use the more niche hammers to make a new aspect what a genious idea. I'm kinda disapointed it wasn't kinetic laucher

Tbh I rarely play rail. I thought reloading would be convenient, but now that you mentioned it, I can totally see why it could get in the way. Here's a quick fix: go to your Mods folder, then DDAspects > GunShared, now open the file Trait.lua and delete this line: OnFiredFunctionName = "GunSharedReload", That's all, no more reloading!

Sure, you can play like that... but I think the special is a big part of this aspect. I mostly play Athena like a less annoying version of Beowulf where I can just blast my special instead of doing the entire load/unload/grab cast thing. The attack chain is janky though (I just gave up at this point lol)

hi! I was having the same issue fortunately I found a fix for this! if you have PonyQoL installed you should disable blood refund in the config. Just go to PonyQOL folder and open the config with note pad find the blood refund and then set the enabled to false. Enjoy!
This mod sounds promising but unfortunately it doesn't work for me too it just shows in the middle of the screen. I made sure that I've downloaded Pony's aspect extender twice but still doesn't work for me.
