I think zimbers sack of hording could be broken since it only takes 6 items one I found and one I created in the spellforge but no difference and I keep seeing a message - I should of saved this prisoner - from time to time that s normal ? otherwise really fantastic mod, many very nice new items how long did it take you to complete this mod ?? kudos !
really gr8 layout of the dungeon. a really intelligent story. nice advancing even without clues. now it comes the downside. the balance. at some point at the beginning u will meet skeletons and i have to say, even on easy, this is not funny. and at the point when ur one puzzle further u will meet 2 plants, 2 worms and one skeleton. worms and plants no problem, but the skeleton gives u the rest and that without heal potions. thats a nono. this is lack of balance. u can evade some attacks of skeletons but when they punch they punch hard. a room where u cant escape when they surround u and then that. for me this is a case of "delete". maybe veterans will have their fun but that point of balance wont get the casual players. u have a story to tell? tell, it but dont let the reader read it over and over again because he gets killed. keep that for medium or hard settings. or put it in the description. but let me clear this out, this mod is definetly a mod worth playing it aside from the "haha put away the book and read from beginning again". keep in mind: either story or puzzling and fighting. rpg is a case of story or other elements. the balance is exactly why most fail. even mmos are beware of that. they keep the aspect of story driven content aside from fighting but if u want to fight u can skip the storything. dont let the story-beeings die but keep a challenge for fighters :).

Good mod, but I had to stop playing it, due to a major bug I encountered. In level 12, clicking on the button at (14;3) made my game freeze, except for the mouse pointer and I had to run Windows task manager to be able to quit the game. I had the same problem in level 15 with the keyhole at (15;20) (where you get Hass, I guess).
PS : I was able to recruit Clave Soris. I can send you my savegames if needed.

Which version are you using by the way. It seems that the problem is occuring with the spawn scripts for the prisoners, I can get them fine in the latest version.
So quick questions what level are you and which slots are your characters in (1, 2, 3 or 4).
No problem about the tardy answer, everybody has real life issues and obligations.
To answer your questions :
I'm using version 1.31. I have Evante in slot 1, Clave Soris in the second slot and I wasn't able to recruit the two remaining companions. The issue appeared first when I tried to click on the button (14;3) in level 12 and then in level 15 when I tried to open the lock (15;20).
I also encountered several other random freezes when I was trying to save my game after removing some torches from the torch holders or after ripping some tapestries, but this is maybe linked to the fact that I used the console to add two characters to complete my team. Plus, I had to skip the final fight (with the console) because I got a CTD bug after a couple of seconds. That being said, I'm glad I was kinda able to finish your mod because it was pretty good.
I alread played a few mods and this is the one of the best, great progression, of skills, and itens and great storyline that keeps you interested. It helped to follow it on Youtube.
L-11, Black and White Room. I tried your hint you left for me on Steam forums and it didn't work. The room is 7x7 (except for the spawning squares) and all of the cells would be either B or W depending on what color is arbitrarily assigned to the lower left square. The pressure plates in all eight of the cells are white, and I have trapped a skeleton in ALL 8 cells. The door still does not open. So... I'm not getting it,,, any help appreciated.
I've left you a reply on steam, any one else having trouble here the doors open if all the black or all the white cells are full (and the other colour all empty) the colour of the cells is determined by the colour of the pillars surrounding each cell
Yes there seems to be a bug there, right now Grimrock keeps crashing on me so I can't upload a fix right now but I have a workaround
The console, if you don't know how to use it go to Almost human/legend of grimrock and open the grimrock.cfg file with notebook, change console to true and consoleKey = 75 (this will make it the K key) when near the door open the console with K and type prison_door_metal_2:open()

I have explored the prison part and must say the level design is really good puzzles are not too hard, only in the relay room I m not able to open the door ! another hint maybe ? the forge is a great idea !! found it but I m not able to activate any receptor no more bugs til now many thanks for this wonderful dungeon )
So relay room is pretty easy you have to get two blobs to hit close to each other to open the door, and then move to block a third from closing it again. So yeah its a timing puzzle but its got awhile before the thing resets so it doesn't need to be prefect, throw an item onto a plate and walk backward to trigger the second and its done
I m afraid I need another hint started again with the updated version, found all characters and a lot of hints for the spellforge but I m still not able to activate any receptor tried averything from using items to throwing spells nothing worked !?
Ah the forge well I'll give you some examples to help you out
Legion shield x 2: One legion shield in each of the reciever and agent terminals, then use a fireball on the armor receptor. If you can't cast fireball yourself theres a staff hidden in the forge that will cast it. (and you make a new staff from two torches and the magic receptor)
Spear (reciever) + Glacial fragment (agent): with this combo hit the weapon receptor
As a rule the reciever is the item being enchanted and the agent is providing the powers to that item, the resulting item determines which receptor to hit, hopefully you don't have further trouble with this

As for how long it took, about a year just chipping away, I work full time so I'd get maybe half an hour twenty minutes to works on this each day
