I download latetst (13 june 2018) version of this mod and my Kaspersky said nothing. I especially check it. Unfortunately this mod can't work when your saves is in Steam cloud, and you need move it to local storage. Sad.
Yesterday I got a notification that I had to update my GDIA on launching, so I did. After this I couldn't load any of my characters in Grim Dawn (infinite loading). I restarted my pc, and now I could load my character. However, my stash was empty so I used the windows recovery function to set back my previous version of the transfer file (restoring my items in game).
Today I launch GDIA and I find a few thousand items there that shouldn't be. I have a lot of items that I cannot possible have at the moment (far surpassing my highest characters level and a lot of soul bound augments that I couldn't possible put in my stash). As far as I can see I lost no items. However I got an extreme amount of extra items (generally a lot of yellows, greens, materials etc, for example all the Elite Devil's items of level 70). Several of the items in my stash also got double or trippled. The level requirement for a lot of items is off as well (level 50 items showing "any" in the IA)
I'm trying to remove these items by putting them in the stash and removing them in game, but it is quite a chore. Hopefully this can be fixed.
That is good to know. But how can I exclude something in one of the Avast Shields ( Most likely Webshield. ) that can not be downloaded ... because of Avast terminating the download before the download is ready? ( Free version of Avast by the way. )
And upfront ... no I will not disable any shield of Avast.
Well I forgot to post that I was able to download the version from 11 October, so the problem was either solved by the author of this tool, or some one else tried to download this tool before and reported it to Avast. Either way I have it now.
If you've previously used GD Stash you can export it to .gds and import it in IA. If you've previously used mules, you need to fill your transfer stash, and then import that manually via IA.
For regular use, just dump anything into the last stash and voila =)
There is some items from vanilla that ItemAssistant cant recognize. I am using the latest versions for both Grim Dawn and IA. I can provide screenshots if you need them.

Kaspelski said iagrim.exe is a Trojan virus and uninstalled it soon without asking me.

Avast seems to just generally hate anything written in C#.
How can I bring my items from other version of Item assistant to this one ?
