The PS2 animations are a little bit different compared to the PC ones. In GTA3, Claude has different jogging animations (with and without a weapon), while in Vice City, Tommy's animations are fixed, since they were quite broken in PC.
As a small fact: GTA3's PC animations can also be seen in various late-beta videos (for the 2001/original version).
