The Feb 14 update breaks all my mods and I don't have the necessary tools to fix them yet (I need a tool to pack hacked assets into the new IoStore format). For now, if you want to use my mods, your best bet is to downgrade to a Gotham Knights version from before the Feb 14 update. There are some instructions here:
I have not tried these myself, so cannot confirm that they work. I highly recommend making a backup first. If I find a way to fix my mods, I will update them.
How do you downgrade the game? everytime I try (using the tutorial here {https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fGYsyKqk7V8&t=34s}) it keeps saying "failed to open descript File Mercury/Mercury.uproject"
Awesome stuff, really made my day finding this mod. If you manage to get any free time, it would be awesome to have a version of the Neon Noir suit that uses the Day One Hair, but still has a cowl like the New Guard set so she can still be incognito. Either way great mod, endorsed and cheers.
I am only using: zz_batgirl_day_one_hair_all_suits_p and zz_batgirl_can_you_hair_me_now_p and every other suit has the cowl except Neon Noir. If you unpak the file that is the only suit that is actually modified by the mod, to remove the cowl I believe. I might try removing that part of the file and repacking the file, but my knowledge of the unrealpak tool is pretty minimal and I'm not sure if that would break the mod.
Take a look to the bug tab i've put a link to a sort ofwalkthrough made by xtcrefugee or read further this tread to find xtcrefugee/Chaidir31 post you might find some help to pack/unpack mod in the right way, it is about the haircut but that may help you. You can also look this mod or this article it contains some interesting information. Sorry to not giving you more help, i'm not comfortable enough with unreal tool.
That worked flawlessly. I just followed xtcrefugee's wonderful explanation on the post below me and also deleted the Gotham folder. Worked Like a charm, cowl is back on the suit and changeable via the styles menu in game. Thanks for the recommendation.
Very nice work, thanks. In case anyone else was wondering, you can use this with peek6's Noir costume mod, I just renamed zz_batgirl_noir_swimsuit_p.pak to yy_batgirl_noir_swimsuit_p.pak to make sure the files from this mod load after it.
I'd like to echo what shinowkelt said before though, would it be possible to still have batgirl's regular ponytail hairstyle while in the belfry? As this one doesn't really work on that outfit, it clips, still has the hairband, missing hair etc.
You can extract the PAK file (zz_batgirl_day_one_hair_all_suits_p.pak) using Unrealpak, go to the extracted PAK folder, then find and delete "C_BG_CAS_Default_Hair_01" folder. Then change the extracted folder into PAK and put it back into ~mods.
I'd actually tried that before, but I didn't realize that you need to recreate the Mercury\Content\Character\Player\BatGirl folders within zz_batgirl_day_one_hair_all_suits_p or the new pak won't work.
Thanks for the tip ^^ i'm not easy with unreal packing tool but i will try. What do you mean "you need to recreate the Mercury\Content\Character\Player\BatGirl folders within zz_batgirl_day_one_hair_all_suits_p" ?
If you download UnrealPak from here, you'll see a few batch files after extracting the archive, inc. UnrealUnpak.bat and UnrealPak-With-Compression.bat. Drag zz_batgirl_day_one_hair_all_suits_p.pak onto UnrealUnpak.bat, and it will create the folder zz_batgirl_day_one_hair_all_suits_p, where it has extracted the pak.
Open that folder and you'll see two folders: Hair and Gotham. The folder you need to delete (C_BG_CAS_Default_Hair_01) is in Hair.
Now, most UnrealPak guides omit this next step but it's very important: you need to recreate the game's original folder structure within zz_batgirl_day_one_hair_all_suits_p before using UnrealPak-With-Compression.bat or the mod won't work. In the case of this mod, you need to create Mercury\Content\Character\Player\BatGirl within zz_batgirl_day_one_hair_all_suits_p, then move the Hair and Gotham folders into that. i.e. your Hair folder should end up as zz_batgirl_day_one_hair_all_suits_p\Mercury\Content\Character\Player\BatGirl\Hair.
Once you've done that, drop your modified zz_batgirl_day_one_hair_all_suits_p folder onto UnrealPak-With-Compression.bat, and it will create a new zz_batgirl_day_one_hair_all_suits_p.pak file in the same folder as UnrealPak. If you've done it correctly, your new pak should be a little smaller, 17.8 MB.
Thank you very much for the repacking tuto (xtcrefugee) and for the help (Chaidir31) to solve the issue with the haircut. Now i can use this mod without be annoyed with the scrunchie/hole in the belfry even if it was not a big deal it is better now.
Great Mod ! Someone else have the scrunchie that remains visible and holes on the haircut in the Belfry ? Works very well in Gotham City ^^ Otherwise is there a way to keep the ponytail haircut or her outdoor outfit in the Belfry to solve the issue ? Thanks.
