We need a zoom mod for scopes a lot. Its so goofy you cant precisely aim at like 300m which is clownishly close for sniper rifles. Especially when trying to repeatedly headshot Bodarks or other heavies with two tap helmets.
The fact that the most powerful optic in the game is a mere 6x that's nearly triple the length of the ACOG is outlandish, especially when you realize that the digital scope is literally the same magnification AND can toggle between 1x and 6x. It says it's a 4x scope but side by side comparisons show that it's actually a 6x.
I think the mod is outdated. The spartan mod CE table works just fine but it was also recently updated, but this one along with the "No automatic reload" tables don't work no matter what I do. Both say there is an error in the 6th line.
Great one. Once again people doing's the right thing and fixing Ubisoft's mess. I hope you could do the same for sniper rifle/dmr scope zoom. Hilarious and sad at the same time that Ubi added that low unrealistic zoom levels, again, same as Wildlands.
I'd really LOVE this on scopes, especially marksman/sniper scopes. Give them the x5-25 they usually have for marksman, along with the x40 some real longrange snipers have
As of 10-17-23 the cheat tables need to have updated offsets to function correctly, I have a working fix (for me at least) You can open the CT files with a text editor, and manually change the offsets in the define line and the alloc lines. (line 11 and line 16)
Offset for dx11 version: "GRB.exe"+3483750 Offset for Vulkan Version: "GRB_vulkan.exe"+34A3490
This needs to be applied to only these 2 lines the first define, and the alloc line.
the top of the file for the updated Vulkan fix should look like this:
Probably due to the "assert" command in line 6, that seems to check for the proper RAM contents. But I already checked and removed that assert, script will execute but binocular zoom will not be increased. instead, loses zoom steps and now only has 1x and 3x levels. Probably breaks something else along the way.
So the latest patch (September 19th 2023) seems to have changed the RAM layout, looks like we have to wait for an update on the scripts, because I do not really know whats going on there...
Hello, I know this is an older mod but I recently got into modding GRB.
Just wanted to say you can edit the zoom value directly in cheat engine while the game is running by right clicking on the "Change maximal zoom of binoculars" > Change script > Edit the line [dd (float) 5.0]. After doing this, just un-enable and re-enable the script and it should update in game. I changed mine to 10.0 and I am pretty satisfied with that!

alloc(zoommax_mem,$128,"GRB_vulkan.exe"+34A3490)
Any advice?
I am dumb and dont know how to answer the question in python using the injection method.
Help.

It may or may not help to keep using those forge-libraries instead of the patched ones.
