    Hello, the mod is cool, but there is a serious problem with collision, when the side of the car collides with the wall, the car sticks, and on the highway the city speed drops instantly.

      Yes it is a problem and still trying to figure out how to the get rid of the arcade physics properly that Bugbear introduced to the series. At the moment it is disabled but for some reason the game behaviors very strangely to such a change. The cars in FlatOut 2 never really bounced off of the walls and would mostly slide along the wall at about the same speed as the car only slowed down. Will look into the code and try and find the balance so that the physics aren't arcade like.

      Hey man! Did you figure out how to solve the issue?
      Sorry, but I have to tell you, even using your mod, the handling is not the same as FO2.
      I really would like the physics the behaviors of FO2 in FOUC. I don't know why they made a beautiful game with terrible handling like, too much arcade.
      I hope you can improve this mod.

    "fix the car sounds by porting over the sound code from FO2 into FOUC" curious where in the unpacked files this is because i just want this bit, for now

      That was a complete joke to be honest. Since you can still reproduce the sound glitch but on the workshop update version the update claims that thw glitch is fixed.

      In reality however it mainly edited hiw the sounded levels are to match FO2 since you can hear everything compacted to the vannila Ultimate Carnage

    Very cool of you to put some work into this game! This is one of my all time favorite racing games. I was wondering though, if there might be any way you could separate the different modifications integrated in the mod file? Some people are reporting issues with the physics modifications. I would like to only use the upscaled UI elements and possibly check out the alternate textures on my end. I'm not sure how the game goes about reading the .bfs files, but if it can pull multiple files upon loading the game, it would be super cool to be able to pick and choose the desired aspects from this mod. Thanks again!

    I was wondering, if I *just* want the sound code fix, is there a way to install that as a separate mod?  There are some aspects of your mod I'd love to have, but I want to pick and choose which features I get.  For example I'd love to be able to get the higher res AI and textures and the fixed sound code, but I don't want the adjusted AI or the FO2 physics/interaction.

    Seems like a common thing here - is there any way to separate your fixes and/or select which ones we want?

    Установил мод.
    Стало меньше спецэффектов дыма, искр и грязи от соперников. Необычно.
    Изображение слишком темное, растения черные, а не зелёные, поставил яркость 60.

    Играю на руле и трех 32-дюймовых мониторах, поэтому поставил мод, в котором:
    - можно ездить с видом из салона и еще не видно стекол, потому что они сильно бликуют.
    - поставил мод, который убирает границы карты на автовостановление.

    Касаемо уровня сложности в моде и остальных изменений. Мне сложно это проанализировать, но принял решение проходить на этом моде.

      Nice but the Steam version with the workshop update might work better with the steering wheel controls
