This mod simply restores and fixes many issues players have when playing FOUC coming from FO2 where the gameplay doesn't feel as fun and crazy like it did in FO2.

Lods range as been set for 1024 units for static objects and dynamic objects instead of the maximum of 200 units allowing for more polygon detail at further distances. (May require the game to be played at max settings like max view distance, foliage etc.)
CPUGapsNovice, CPUGapsIntermediate and CPUGapsExpert values are set to 1.0 instead of 0.15 in the game.ini file.

Malice now is FWD as during the beta, website and car decrition found in the game files of FlatOut 2 the text reads "Front wheel and a rather interesting exhaust solution's is something to look out for in this vehicle."

Set the Flatmobile TurboAcceleration value to 1.000 for easier control of the vehicle

Happy to report that the new version of the mod Alternate Textures and Extras For FOUC no longer required the game to be unpacked
26 May 2023 - Due to a recent Burnout OST mod taken down for FlatOut 2 due to copyright songs used the mod. Because of this recent event the mod will no longer have the FlatOut 2 songs as they are copyright material from another game according to Nexus Mods Terms of Services. If you want the FlatOut 2 songs for your game you will have to get a separate mod called FlatOut 2 soundtrack for FlatOut Ultimate carnage by GrayFox140 for the songs.

Remaded the Ai to closely match the descriptions seen ingame and was able to fix the car sounds by porting over the sound code from FO2 into FOUC. Upscaled Driver textures using Topaz Gigapixel Ai, upscaled the in game text and the Ai specular textures so that the Ai cars appear less blurry when viewed at an angle. Ported over FO2 Dynamic object behavior and changed FOUC mechanics back to FO2 standards.

Installing:💿 Copy the contents of the zip file and paste it in the directory of the game: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\FlatOut Ultimate Carnage
Then open the filesystem file and add a line under streamed.bfs, "Alternate Textures and Extras For FOUC.bfs" and save the file See the last 3 images for reference
Uninstalling:🗑️ Remove the mod from the directory of the game You can also remove the line Alternate Textures and Extras For FOUC.bfs and make sure that streamed.bfs is the last line to be read by the game and save the file
