What a great mod, thanks for making the unique feature of showing a high attack power in the menu but in practice hits like a wet noodle. Very lore-accurate.
Even using Throw with the Excalipur is accurate, very good damage. :V
When paired with the other item, I see what you did there. :) Fascinating work, can’t wait to see what other items get added in the future. Chicken knife maybe? Frypan?
You don't know how glad I am right now that someone finally appreciated the work for an FFIX Excalipur! To be honest the interaction with Throw is a happy accident, I didn't realize that Throw would still deal excellent damage, but then recalled that's how it actually worked in the previous games.
The special effect with the item combination is more on the reward side for getting these two (there was no gameplay reward reason before, now we have it). And yes! I was thinking about a Chicken Knife, I have a few ideas for them, and hopefully if I got more free time we'll add more. But for now, I encourage everyone to just gush about any ideas they'd like to see for fun or even balanced items.
Hey :) Ive tried dragging and dropping into Memoria but i get this message 'Failed to automatically install the mod value cannot be null. Parameter Name: destDirName
Keep up the good work with the amazing sereies of mods too.
I downloaded the mod and transferred it to the FF9 folder, but after opening the Memoria Launcher the mod appears as a blank on the "Installed Mods" section. When opening the ModDescription.xml file, this error message appears: This page contains the following errors: error on line 16 at column 116: EntityRef: expecting ';'
i got 2 bug in this mod , the weapon attack is 99 but when in battle make an attack the damage too low only 100 - 350 like that and 1 more is not conflict with mod "modern label" .
On a more serious note, can you specify the conflict with Modern Labels? Any item that will be added in Artifact shouldn't have conflicts with that mod. Modern Label edits existing items, it doesn't cover new ones.
Does this mod conflict with your other mod "Black Cat - An Endgame Shop and Synthesis Tweak"? As both make use of the synth shop. "- The Black Cat Synthesis Shop can now synthesize all regular equipment"
It shouldn't have any conflicts, as stated in this mod's description. You will be able to both synthesize all regular equipments (Black Cat) and any new weapons added by Artifacts.

Does it add weapons and armour, that are balanced, throughout the game?
Or is the majority of it OP end game loot?
Future items will be balanced (or powerful for reasons), and I'm not planning to only add endgame items.
It's clearly lore-wise accurate
